With the 3 starters on offense out, you have to figure Nutt and staff will turn to Brandon Bolden to pound the rock between the tackles and that massive offensive line vs our fast but light defensive line. Lets not forget how good of a back Bolden is. Nutt went away from him this year, even though he had some injuries early in the year, for reasons unknown. Ole Miss probably wins 2 more games this year if they give the ball to Bolden 20-25 times a game. Last year, Bolden went for 100+ against us IIRC, and at home on Senior Day, against the team from his hometown who wanted him at LB/S instead of RB, you know he's primed and ready to go off.

They are young on the outside, but have some decent playmakers at WR. Our CB's are gonna have to prevent separation and make open field tackles. Ole Miss likes to use screens and short, quick hitting routes, mainly because they don't have a very good QB.

If Ole Miss can control the clock with a strong running game and keep it close enough for the crowd to get involved, things might get a liitle hairy in Oxford tomorrow night.

Actually, I think your opinion is way off base. I'm wondering what on earth you've seen to make you believe that.

Tech's front 4 were in Ole Miss's backfield from the start - we should control the lines and take a 3-4 TD win without too much effort.

the hell of it is i have no idea how this game will go. i've seen 45 ole miss/lsu games and i stay away from wagering because of the wierd outcomes. yes, sometimes we kick their arse and this seems like a year where we will do that but nothing will surprise me. every year the fans ASSUME lsu will stomp them (much like arkansas)and virtually every year both teams come out like banshees against us. i think we win a close one but don't come close to beating the spread.

Any other year I might agree, but Ole Miss is really, REALLY down this year. Will not be close.

Bro I trust your judgement and knowledge as far as football goes, but not tomorrow.

This will be an arse whooping of epic proportions.

7thWard knows more about football in his left index finger he uses to finger your wifes a-hole than you have in your entire body.

And I would put my mortgage on that.

Doing he turns in his key to the Rant you turn in your Man Card

He makes some good points, but I don't agree that the outcome of this game will match his prediction.

Yep. Nutt will be playing the betrayed leader to his troops. They'll keep it within 40....'til the 4th qtr anyway.

Yes, and Brooklyn Decker could show up at my door for wild, uninhibited sex...
Look, Ole Miss won't win and won't keep it close unless we have 4 or more turnovers.
Talent wise we are on a totally different level from the 'rebels'.
