I was told by ole Miss fans getting Frank was a major blow to us.

Turns out he is just washed

Lacy has been hurt all year knee and then shoulder vs us. They also gave him a huge bag to stop him from leaving.

Double whammy for ole miss they have a useless bag man coaching RBs and a ton of money tied up in a injured back because of us.

It’s crazy that people watch football and think they’re just doing random athleticism and letting their instincts take over. These guys work incredibly hard technically on every move they make. You’re clueless

I mean this post is ridiculous. Did you watch the game? He has been playing through multiple injuries and left the game. His backup came in and did ok.

And if you think a successful RB is somehow going to be coached down to the point they aren’t as good in less than a season then you are the one that’s clueless. Health and availability are the #1 attributes a RB can have, all you have to do is take a look at RB churn in the NFL to figure that out.

The hate that Frank gets is really absurd. This bullshite narrative took off when a rumor spread of him trying to leverage recruits to stay on staff. Well, he landed those recruits and exited gracefully by all accounts.

People are seriously upset with Frank because they feared he would get the permanent HC job, so they convinced themselves he was a horrible coach by end of season. It’s actually quite embarrassing to be associated with as a fellow LSU fan. He did a very difficult thing and assumed a responsibility while LSU very publicly poached a rival coach. He landed yet again another great recruiting class and I believe he got another #1 recruiter ranking on his way out. Now every time someone rushes for less than 5 yds a carry for OM we have a thread about how bad of a coach he must be, when the reality is the guy got taken out the game because of an injury he has been dealing with all season. Embarrassing butthurt look by LSU fans.

What’s so funny is that they really thought they were sticking it to us by taking him.

No, you weren’t. We took their RB coach as part of the Kiffin transition. I don’t even understand the context in which you would have been told that.

Well which one is it? Is Lacy hurt or is Frank washed? You can’t use one to explain the other.

That’s a more fair position than making stuff up.

It’s almost like losing the best 2 offensive minds in college football set them back a tad.

Lacy isn't the same. I don't know if he not 100% but he doesn't have the burst. OM needed to run the ball because the man coverage and pass rush was really a good strategy.

Didn’t Lacy just have a 100+ yard game against Mizzou last week? How hurt can he be?

It’s both and everyone knows it. We had a piss poor run game for years. Frank was part of it, he isn’t a great rb coach, he was a bag man and a damn good one for a long time. Those days are past.

Frank isn’t a good running back coach and Lacy has been hurt both are truths

It was warranted back in the day. Frank was an elite bag man when you needed one and did a lot of good here, then in this era you don’t need a bag man, so the actual position coaches need to be able to coach technical sound things.

I’m sure it wasn’t easy for Frank having to be around BK, Sloan, Davis all day and see just lack of caring and shite coaching. We won the rb coach swap by a million.

Frank's super power was his recruiting and that has never been less important. Coaching and development are not his strengths at all.
