As an old fart I'll never pull FOR the weenies. However, I will always pull FOR the Black Bears to lose. weenie fans are like cock roaches. They hide under rocks & occasionally scurry out from under them, only to disappear again for years & years. That being said, every year, on the anniversary of Cannon's run I'll pull up the video & & enjoy it almost as much as I did back then. Another great memory is watching the entire Black Bears' bench cursing & throwing their helmets into the hedges after Jones to Davis game winning TD with...... 4 seconds left on the clock. Johhny Vaught just standing there on the hash mark shaking his head, for several minutes.

It's harder for people who grew up in Nola to pull for Tulane b/c of the rivalry that once was between us (their fans were such aholes). With that said Tulane has a good team & coach and it wouldn't shock me if they beat the Rebs.

Nothing like wrapping up the Orange Bowl and then losing to Tulane the next week
