I’m more concerned with the lack of explosive plays by GN…he has to be able to hit the deep throws because they will be open this year…that will be the difference between this team being very good and great

He has the same issue that Jayden had early on. He tries to throw the perfect pass on each deep ball, instead of throwing with touch and allowing the WR to adapt and make a play. Burrow was great at this. As Nuss and his WRs get a feel for each other over the summer, this should come together a bit.

I take BK at his word when he says the goal this Spring wasn't to find the best 5 and plug them in. Let the guys develop and coaches can see where to start in the Fall.

I also think the portal has lot to play here as well. You throw Thompson and Moore with first team last 2 weeks of camp and you are going to potentially lose a couple guys you want to keep for depth and development.

Just when you think all of our fan base is full of emotional, menstrual, women we get a post like this.

I agree with that statement.

Everyone is getting their shot to prove themselves worthy of starting. My uneducated guess to start is this:

LT… Adams
LG .. Curne
C …. Moore
RG .. Thompson
RT .. Davis

Nussmeier then had Barion Brown on a deep post but overthrew him

This is my only worry

Well, I'd say a prerequisite for Nuss is a good OL, so let's hope they get it together. He's certainly not going to scramble out of anything.

We had three guys on the offensive line from last year who will be playing on Sundays. What is going to be different this year?

Nussmeier will be running for his life behind this upcoming OL shite show. (Unless Sloan installs a Brady type Offense that has Nuss getting the ball out of his hand very fast a la da Joe Brady Offense with Burrow in 19}

Burrow got the ball out so fast that the totally "Mediocre" OL didn't have to hold their blocks too long,,,,,,,,,,

Any time words of a weak link are leaking out of practice it's a bad sign. Because Brian Kelly is allergic to balanced football teams I expect a good defense and an offense with no run game and poor pass protection. Nuss can overcome it if he pulls a Joe Burrow and levels up in the off season.
