When's the last time a heisman winner(that didn't play for Bama) won a title in the same year?

Leinart or Reggie maybe?

What does a Heisman have to do with winning championships?

3/4 Heisman trophy winners have been in the college football playoff with Lamar Jackson being the only exception.

So I'd say I'd rather be in the college football playoff and you need a good offensive system to do that which means you probably have a good QB to put up big numbers.

Yes, tell that to the Heisman trophy. Pass first wins.

It makes zero difference what type offense you run if you can run it effectively.

And LSU would have made the playoffs every year if we played in their conference.

Orgeron and Ensminger share the same mentality with Les Miles. If you have the lead, run the football 3 times and then punt; they're unwilling to be aggressive and throw for the first down. It cost us 2 years ago against Florida, and it cost us again this season at A&M.

Because they play zero defense in that conference. They would make our offense look good and our defense feasts off of pass heavy offenses.

Kansas put 40 on them. Oklahoma State put 47 on them. Texas tech put 46 on them. Texas put 48 on them.

Air raid offense is not conducive to a good defense. It leaves them on the field too long and they get worn out. You need a balanced offense like Bama and Clemson run. You’ve got to be able to pass well to keep the opponents defense honest and be able to run the ball well enough to eat clock and let your defense rest.

You're right, but these clowns are just way too passive. They'll suffer 2 to 3 loss each season.

Sure I'll face the facts. The facts are that we have a drop problem, our offensive line can't protect or open up the run, the play calling in predictable and brand, and you're an idiot.

Burrow will play in the NFL.

This is the type of offense LSU has fielded for this century.
FIFY and LSU 2-1 over OU in natty trophies.
Do you think OU would look so glorious in SECW?

No titles? OU has won the Big XII 4 years in a row. LSU can't even win the SEC West.

Again, OU is in the Big 12. Do you honestly think they would of won the big 12 in any of those four years with Bama in there? Hell, Bama hasn't won the last four West titles and if you tell me OU is better than they have been in the last four years, you will lose all credibility with your future posts.

All drops are problems, but the severity of this in the LSU offense is a common deflection and not really "fact".

False. The fact that Bama has to deal with us every year makes us relevant even if we aren’t undefeated. We were definitely relevant until that game this year

Crazy part is that they run incredibly well. And for all the tards talking about "defenses";

Oklahoma 2017

- Vs Ohio St 15th ranked scoring defense 31 points
- Vs TCU 14th ranked scoring defense (Oklahoma played them twice) 38 and 41 points
- Vs UGA 6th ranked scoring defense 48 points
- VS Texas 29th ranked scoring defense 29 points

3 of those 5 games were neutral site and they played Ohio St on the road.

Now in 2018 they didn't play any great defenses, but Texas, Iowa St, and Kansas St would have been considered top 25-30 defenses playing in any other conference.

Oklahoma is a team that can score on anybody. Over the last two years, their lowest point total was 28 and in that game, the opposition (Army), held the ball 45 minutes. That means Oklahoma scored 28 points in about a quarter worth of time.

You'll see exactly what I'm talking about when they play Bama. They are 2nd in the country in per carry average and 1st in the country in per pass attempt average. They are also #1 in scoring.

Lols. You'll soon see what that wins. The big 12 is at an all-time high of poor defense. Hell at least OU used to halfway play defense. No more. They will get exposed bigly.

Lol. That Texas team where Maryland just scored again? The defense in the big 12 is comical, not just bad. So Texas, Iowa State, and Kansas State would have been equal or ahead of lsu in defense if they were in the sec? Lmao.

How many titles have they won again? When was the last one?

Lmao

They have won the Big 12 the last 4 years in a row. The last time a Power 5 team has done that was Florida in the 90s. They were a TD away from beating UGA last year in the semis. They've beaten Bama more recently than we have too, and as a matter of fact, they beat Bama by more points than anybody else has since 2010.

Oklahoma has averaged no less than 217 rush yards per game the past 6 years and this year they are averaging 253. They lost their 2017 1440 total yards 17 TD RB (200 yards 2 TDs vs UGA) in the second game of this year, yet still could finish the year with 3 1000 yard rushers.

The passing for them over the last 4 years is the best you'll ever find, and they have gone 46-7 over the last 4 years.

If Oklahoma had Aranda this year and last year, they would have been undefeated in back to back years.
