Someone has an agenda and it’s not me. Do you feel Burrow’s year was better than Jefferson or Harris’ sophomore year? If so then you are the one with the agenda buddy. For that matter it wasn’t better than Etling either. The stats are unbiased. The excuses are.

The only reason they make the CFP to begin with is that they play in the Big 12. You think they would still get in if they played in the SEC West?

IMHO, I think they would've beat the teams we beat, with the exception of UGA. However, I think they would've beat UF and aTm. I HIHLY doubt they would've gotten shut out at home to Bama. Yes, they would probably lose but the committee would've been much more impressed with how they lost vs how we were shut out.

That UF loss REALLY ended up hurting our season more than most realize. We would've been in the 4 spot up until the aTm game and I think our team and staff would've been a lil more motivated in that game.

So you trying to compile heismans? Who cares about the Heisman?

How many natl championships has that PlayStation offense won? Precisely zero.....

Yeah, I hate those 'soft wins' over teams that don't play defense.

Heisman? Who cares?

Now if OU beats Bama that will be impressive. But they had to go to OT to beat Army

I'd have to go back 7 years to see the last time LSU beat Alabama, baw.

We don’t have to stop playing defense.

OU’s offense doesn’t make their defense bad. Their defense is just bad.

I'm not a baw, kid. Secondly, I never said anything about lsu beating Bama. The fact you go back 4 years to defend a terrible conference says everything about you. I've read your posts. Straight up miserable garbage, shite on lsu and praise everyone else. Gtfo

Holy fk. It's like you are serious or something here. I hope to God you aren't. Their offense is either quick score or quick 3 and out. Oh wtf, it's no use with you. Later Sammy.

TOP only matters so much.

Alabama is 3rd in the Nation in Sxorong defense
Clemson is 4th in the nation in scoring defense

Guess where they are in TOP?

If you’re so smart don’t look and make a guess based on the idea that fast offenses ruin defenses.

You're well informed for someone who started posting here yesterday.

Oklahoma's "playstation" offense? They beat Alabama 4 years ago. They beat Auburn 2 years ago. They went toe-to-toe with Georgia last year.

Oklahoma is proof that you can have a dynamic offense and still compete on the biggest stages.

Big game Bob was called that for a reason. He beat all the shitty teams in conference and lost when he played someone real. You keep referencing a game 4 years ago where even saban himself said his team didn't bother to show up. Wow. Then you go on to reference a loss....lmao

You're right Tillman, let's just discount that their offense is light years better than ours because hey, "they went to OT with Army".

Let's make a bet. I bet Oklahoma looks better and scores more than LSU did against Bama. What would you like to bet sir? Surely a team that went to OT with Army will get shut out vs Bama, after all, they only scored 28 in the game as well.

He has a NC and numerous B12 conference titles. What does Big Game Ed have, again?

Excuses. Oklahoma won. Has Big Game Ed beaten Alabama?

Yes. Oklahoma took Georgia down to the wire, a week before Georgia was in OT to win the NC game.

Can we focus on the offense? Alabama runs a spread. Clemson runs a spread. Notre Dame runs a spread. Oklahoma runs a spread. That's 4/4 this year.

Spread Ohio State beat spread Oregon in 2014.
Alabama beat spread Clemson in 2015.
Spread Clemson beat Alabama in 2016.
Spread Alabama beat Georgia in 2017

See any trends? The word 'spread' shows up a lot in that discussion, doesn't it?

What are you arguing, again? That the spread offense can't win national championships, even though it's literally winning almost every national championship?

Lmao at you kid. Alabama is run first. OU is gimmick. Not need of those others play like OU. So I get, a 20 year old Xbox guru. This board. Wow.

I'll give you this though, OU did beat 5 loss Auburn in 2016.

You guys are amazing. Grass is always greener. It's real simplele. No one is beating Bama. Unfortunately we play in the same division with them. OU or ND wouldn't even be in the playoffs. But I know, you know it all.

*. Yep. Username is 11 years old, but clearly poster is early twenties. Chickens army doing work.

Yes, and they went toe-to-toe with Georgia in the CFP, a week before Georgia went toe-to-toe with Alabama.

IDK, could LSU maybe score points against Alabama? That'd be a nice change!

With no avenues left, you attack the arguer instead of the argument, eh? You're wrong on all counts, though I absolutely wish I was still in my early twenties, when my knees didn't hurt.

When the offensive approach of college football teams is laid out, you have no recourse to fall back on. Ole Miss beat Alabama twice. Auburn beat Alabama last year. Alabama is the gold standard, but they're still a college football team -- Saban has only gone undefeated once.

LSU is failing to live up to its potential because it refuses to abandon this old school 'time of possession / safety first / training wheels' offense.

The next team to make the CFP running a 'training wheels' offense will be the first.
