So if you can't win it all, the season means nothing? What a depressing mindset.

Obviously comprehension is not your strong suit. Did say that at all. I clearly stated we should finish the season but also start planning for the future.

Look our goals for this year are flushed down the shitter, no SEC west title, no SEC Championship title and no BCS-NC title. We will be replacing Mett, Blue & Copeland guaranteed and probably OBJ, Landry, Hill & Collins. Since QB is the MOST important position on the field, now that our goals for this year are shot, do you really want to go into next year with a completely inexperienced QB when you can start to prepare him for next year right now? Getting him a qtr a game in reps is the right thing to do for the program. I am not saying throw this year away I am saying if you can start to prepare for next year now it is the right thing to do for the program. And the same goes for Beckwith, Robinson, Dural, Brazil, Darse and any other of the stars of the future. I mean seriously how much worse can our defense get Ole Piss put up 525 balanced yards on us "300pass/200rush." The coaches keep saying Beckwith & Robinson are studs in the making then put them out now.

You are the one suggesting benching a QB that could go high in the draft after two losses. Basically ruining his draft status. I'm sure future recruits would love that. The best players deserve to play.

Seriously when you read, do you comprehend what you read?

So I suggested that Miles & Cameron give AJ meaningful reps going forward and I even suggest that meaningful reps are a qtr a game. A qtr means "ONE QUARTER." Now just incase your Madden NFL game doesn't do this, a football game is 4 qtrs and since I only suggested that AJ play ONE quarter a game that would mathematically mean that Mett would play the other THREE quarters.

So to shoot down the rest of your idiotic thoughts. Mett playing 3 qtrs per game for the rest of the season will not ruin his draft status in anyway. And our future recruits will see that Miles will prepare for the future by playing the studs today.

Go back to your Madden NFL game now!!!

So you retards are afraid losing 2-3 gamed will kill recruiting but dont think telling players after you lose game 2 you are benched for young players because we have no use for you now will noy effect anything. Brilliant

Obviously with you 2335 I am arguing with an individual who has never played the game. I did not, and repeat am not, saying bench Mett. I am saying QB is the most important position on the field. And you having never played the game, now ask why. Because the QB touches the ball on every play on offense, the QB controls the offense. Having a QB that has some experience is preferable if possible and getting AJ reps this year for next year is now an option because at this point all we are playing for is what bowl we will be playing in because the goals of SEC West, SEC Champs and BCS-NC titles are down the shitter. So starting to help prepare for next year, is the right thing to do for the program.

Actually the west is still technically alive. So what you want to do with your team is tell them to quit while still alive. Even better

Auburn has Tenn, UGA, Arkansas and Bama on their schedule

Bama has Tenn, LSU, and Auburn on their schedule

We still have a shot. Not a big shot, but if Auburn beats Bama...

Another person who has never played the game.

Ok yes I realize a qtr can cost a game!

Do you realize that by not getting an inexperienced QB up to speed next year can cost us multiple games???

But those are the risks you take, if you had a choice at this point knowing that your goals for this year are gone "and we now know that they are" would you rather risk losing a game this year or multiple games next year? It is just a question I am not implying that we are going to lose anymore this year or next year. But that is the question that I am asking you, what is your answer?

It is official all we are playing for at this point is what bowl we are going to, the rest of the goals have been flushed down the sh*tter last night. At this point the coaches need to step up and start planning for next year. Mett thanks for coming to LSU and thanks for your contributions this year. The way you played against UGA we should have won that for you, but the defense screwed the pooch. Unfortunately last night was on you, as bad as the defense did play those 3 ints cost the game. Since our goals for this year can not be met, we now have to start to plan for being successful next year along with finishing up this year. So if Jennings is our future at QB he needs to start getting some serious playing time. At this point Mett is going to get drafted high "1st or 2nd round" so it is time to let AJ get at least a qtr a game. Getting AJ serious reps this year, at least a qtr a game, will help big-time next year. If Beckwith is part of the future at the Mike then damn it start playing him there it will help us for next year. If Robinson is our future at DB then lets see him on the field the entire game. I mean seriously our defense can't get much worse with them playing and if they are the future of the defense then let's see the future now. If Dural and Brazil are future stars on offense we are going to lose Mett, Copeland, Blue and probably OBJ, Landry, Hill & Collins we do not want to be like we are on defense this year on offense next year get meaningful reps for their replacements please.

Don't entirely disagree in spirit, but there's no tanking in CFB. Goal must be to win every remaining game in any way possible.

Our shot is so remote, it really is not a shot at all. Please put some thought into your argument and saying you are going to go to church and ask God to help us is not a thoughtful argument.

I think Jennings should have had more playing time this year even before the losses.

it really relies on 1-2 games outside of our control. I guess you've never watched CFB

Says the guy who wants to play the 2nd string QB for an entire quarter in meaningful games

I don't even disagree that he should come in for plays here and there, but you don't give him an entire quarter unless we're playing furman

And I clearly stated;

quote:

we now have to start to plan for being successful next year along with finishing up this year

So why does anyone think that playing AJ a qtr a game will mean we will lose a game? And if you do think that putting AJ into the game this year will mean we will lose the game, what does that mean for next year? How many games will we lose next year if AJ playing one qtr a game this year will cost us the game?

Look just incase anyone can't see, our offense is not costing us the game our defense is. Our offense put up 41pts in the UGA game it was our defense that allowed UGA to put up 44pts. Mett's 3 int last night killed us, I think everyone can agree on that. That being said Mett also drove us down the field to tie the game with 3mins left and the defense could not stop Ole Piss to get the ball back to the offense or to get the game into overtime where the offense could win it for us. So please let's not be total morons here, our defense is our problem this year not our offense. And playing AJ a qtr a game this year is not going to cost us the game our defense will do that for us. But getting AJ serious reps this year will definitely help AJ prepare to help us win games next year.
