Ok guys, everyone needs to temper their emotions to prevent a knee jerk decision

No one will deny the offense was horrid during most of the Miles tenure, especially the last few years. But just because that offense was so brutal we do not need to make a knee jerk reaction and look to hire a wide open spread coach. Just because Les ran a so-called pro style offense doesn't mean we need to discount pro style guys. We need a guy that can have a versatile game plan.
Don't forget:
- our pro style offense was what prepared a lot of the receivers that are now in the league.
- As we have seen, most wide open teams cannot field a solid defense.
- just like wing T, veer and triple option this is a fad, so we do not need to completely sell out for the idea. There is a reason the pro style is ran in the pros, because it works if correctly.
I keep hearing names like Mike Leach, Larry Fedora, Kliff Kingbury just because they score a lot of points. I'm not sure that we need to pick a coach strictly based on offensive points scored.

According to my sources, Herman is a done deal. You may as well start grieving now.

I don't consider him a wide open offensive guy. He ran the ball very well at Ohio St.

You watched pro football lately? They don't run the shite we've been watching for the past 7 seasons.

I didn't claim Miles' offense was good. Matter of fact, I clearly stated it wasn't.
