Dumb comparison. Bama and Notre Dame wear dark colored jerseys at home and white on the road, like it should be. LSU only wears purple jerseys for a few home games against shitty FCS opponents.

This needs to be permanent helmet for Ole Miss game. Maybe equipment could get a jersey set with the numbers to match the helmet numbers.

If LSU for one season only would make this the permanent home uniform and the “all whites” the road uniform … I would enthusiastically say yes.

the numbers on the helmets are so much better than our current thing, oh, and also, even more traditional

All whites, purple and whites, and purple and gold are all good. I also love the old school gold we wore in like '16 against Moo St.
