I'd be very surprised if your defense holds the Badgers to less than 20 points.
The Badgers have an NFL-bound OLine with experience, two of the best RB's in the country, good TE's, and some promising guys at WR.
You'll either face a decent QB with a season and a half under his belt or a new guy who proved to be better than him in camp.
Our OC is very good.
So you're not going to beat us 43 - 13 or anything stupid like that.
That said, I think the Badgers probably lose by a roughly a TD, but it'll be more like 34 - 27 with the game in doubt at the half.

I thought it was already decided that we're facing the converted safety?

LSU - 38
Wis - 14
LSU gains massive yardage on the ground. Big chunks of real estate with a couple of long scoring runs.
Also, the passing game is very effective when used. 15 to 18 passes working effectively to tight ends and backs out of the backfield. Short passes to the WR with nice yardage after the catch. Also, can foresee a couple of bombs thrown. Hopefully, we connect on one or two
About 275 yards on the ground and about 180-200 through the air.
Defense shows up, reminiscent of defenses past. DL proves they are for real and were very underrated in the preseason.

31- 17, Tigs
It's too easy to just say the two teams are mirror images: strong, one dimensional offense against inexperienced front sevens.
The LSU defensive front is underrated, and is fast and deep.
Nobody is mentioning special teams in the analysis, either. LSU has a significant speed and talent advantage here, which in opening games can make a difference.
This is a good Wisconsin team, but LSU wins unless we commit turnovers, which is not characteristic.

Your team is losing 80% of its receptions from last year and also their top 4 linebackers. Also, your best safety has departed.
Good luck Breaux.

LSU loses 80% of its receptions and best safety, too.
This is where the depth of young talent distinguishes LSU from other teams who replace last years starters.
It will show on the defensive line for LSU this year, IMO.

So it comes down to LSU's depth vs Wisconsin's?
I don't think I'll be losing any sleep over this
