Most Rant posters don't care how Ragin' Cajun fans or the athletic departmtnet "self identify".
We are just amused that the 20 or so ULL fans who took up the banner on the Rant for a week get extremely offended when we tease them about it. The more indignation, the funnier it gets.

They need to go all SJW and start a Louisiana tublr account, where their voices can really be heard. If Bruce Jenner can self identify as a woman why can't they self identify as Louisiana.

I always find it amusing when a fan of another team makes statements of this kind only to follow it up with some kind of trash talk bout LSU grads working for UL@L grads.
It's like we couldn't beat your team on the field, so we gonna find a way to talk bad bout your fan
base.

It's been my experience in traveling to follow LSU, that most times you can find what you seek in any fan base. If we go with a chip on our shoulder, we probably will find someone willing to knock it off.
It's a sports forum and trash get talked on it. The same guys talkin' it with you would probably offer you a plate of food if you were walking around the tail gating area. So, lighten up and enjoy.

Dear University of Louisiana-Lafayette fans, there is a University of Louisiana-Monroe, also, that does not have LSU penis envy. You are not "UL", you are ULL or my preference UL-Laf.
LSU is THE university of Louisiana. You are and will forever be ULL/UL-Laf in spite of what you want to put on jerseys, bumper stickers and assorted posts.
You probably should have stuck with University of Southwest Louisiana. That way, you at least sounded like a regional state university. Your failed efforts to be more than you are, by name anyway, now makes you sound like a university that represents a city (funny when you are called "Lafayette").
Leave representing the state to the big boys.
