There's a replay at 10:00 Central.

30 minutes was way too short for that
Agreed, especially that they gave the '85 Miss. State team that DIDN'T WIN the CWS (or even the SEC West that year) an hour and a half.
Not sure why Bo Rein and Warren Morris only get half an hour each. Both stories had much more depth that could have been explored.
As usual, typical screw job by the conference considering the SEC Network is its house organ.

It was really good but it just felt so rushed. I feel like they left so much out there.

JH called it a 3 run home run.

They could have spent 30 minutse on the actual game's highlights itself bc it was that exciting...nevertheless, what a great story of LSU and true pride of the Bayou

Could've been an hour if they would've gotten the Miami point of view with guys like Cora, Burrell, Morris, more Skip thoughts in the 9th. Other teammates POVs of the moment.

I noticed that several years ago. Thought I might be the only one who heard it that way.

"For weeks I thought this was going to be about LSU walking off the field without a championship the last 5 years with a top 8 seed..."

Mitch Sherman is the ESPN reporter covering the CWS right now. Good dude

I really enjoyed it. I think that was Keith David narrating. He does a great job. Will always remember him as this guy in Platoon.

I was disappointed. There should have been far more coverage of the dramatics within the game. No mention of the controversial play to Cooley in LF? Furniss's ball into the RF corner when Nate Dunn ran through the stop sign at 3B and scored standing up?
In the pre game radio show, Bertman mentioned Morris as someone who was poised to have a breakout game. Prophetic.
Also, before the 9th inning started, Hawthorne said that it had been a great ballgame, good hitting, fine defense, had everything you could ask for … except a home run. Now would a good time for one. Prophetic again.

I remember him as the guy who wanted to destroy the world in Armageddon.

I was disappointed as well. Was very rushed and left so much out. I kinda figured that with it only being half an hour.

Which is pretty shitty. One of the most if not the most iconic plays in college baseball history with a legendary coach and we get the cliffs note version of it
