It was a throw that was alright for Tolliver being wide open. If Tolliver was covered it would have most likely been incomplete.

Throws to wide open receivers are often different than throws to covered receivers. The QB wants to make sure the WR has an opportunity to catch it...IE...he doesnt want to overthrow it.

I was listening in the car earlier - the announcers said Shep was playing like an SEC junior, not a high school senior. They kept remarking about how special of a talent he is and how impressed they were by him. FWIW
