Don't like mindset of this team right now.
Offense has too many issues going up against the best defense on the schedule so far.
There playing an offense that will be able to grind out the game as well.

Pressure is finally off.
Players alas get a chance to go out and have fun.
Home game in Death Valley.
Once described as playing inside a drum by an opposing hated coach not to be named.
Fanbase ready for a positive vibe.

Um...no. There has not been this much pressure on an LSU team in quite a while. A loss here means no SECCG and a struggle to stay in the top 15. This is a high pressure game.
I love the Tigers and wish them well, but I don't see us magically fixing the injuries and poor offensive scheme we have in the last week. We'll have more of the same from the O, and the D will give a valiant effort early in the game until the crowd mood turns ugly over the continued lack of offense, then the D will give up.

Our defense will always give us a chance. Night game in Death Valley, bourbon in the air, negatigers selling their tickets to positigers.....the makings of a special night for the Tigers.

LSU will get a TD from D or SP play (punt return or pick-6). A turnover will result in a TD or FG.
That means I'm only counting on the offense to drive down the field and score once. D and ST win the game for LSU. LSU will probably play very conservatively -- 75% runs, 25@ passes -- because they don't want any turnovers.
MAYBE once or twice Mettenberger will throw deep and hopefully catch USCe offguard.
