Harris, as a well-spoken QB,
might be a catalyst for some WR to commit.
The QB and WRs could then recruit the O line, especially Cam Rob.
Several OOS prospects are likely to commit soon, anyway.
By August 1, LSU could have 20 firm commits.
CamRob, LF, and Speedy might wait until 2014 to make their verbal pledges.

I think Tony Brown plans to compete in high school track in spring 2014.
Malachi Dupre might have similar plans.

25 players divided accordingly.
7 DBs: Hardeman, Voorhies, Paris, Brown, Jones, Battle, and possibly C. J. Chark.
2 LBs: Donnie Alexander (OLB) and Glifton Garrett (ILB).
4 DL: Clark (true DE), Godchaux (probable DT), Willis (probable DT), and Garrald McDowell (probable DT).
3 OL: Clapp, Brumfield, and Cameron Robinson
6 WR: D. Williams, Upchurch, Dupre, Noil, Quinn, and Blacknall.
1 TE: J. Washingon. Clay Moffitt could be a walk-on who might play TE. William Upchurch might get some snaps alternately as WR, TE, and RB.
1 RB: Leonard Fournette. Other players on the team, like Jeryl Brazil, Speedy Noil, Diarse, and Upchurch might become the new "committee" to get 3-5 or 5-10 carries per game.

I don't think LSU takes a second RB in this class unless they steal a top-shelf prospect who is already committed to another program.
However, in Cam Cameron's offense, I can see Jeryl Brazil and Speedy Noil lining up in multiple positions. If Jeryl can bulk up to 195-200 pounds without losing speed, he might become a fairly conventional RB...albeit very fast. Imagine Michael Ford but faster and with more wiggle.

Mr. Moses, please follow the lead of the college game. 3 years and done. For both high school and college.
It's not that difficult for Dylan to graduate AFTER three years of high school if there's a plan in place. He WILL be ready in 2016. And then in 2019 he could turn pro.
He could shave off 2 years off possibly getting injured.
Have you considered this option -- Dylan graduating in May 2016?

Most of jrevonte's posts are collected below. That last clue, I think, narrows the list considerably: "now that S/S did their job I can say this one of these guys committed yesterday......" Problem is that most of Sonny's and Shea's posts are for 247 subscription members. Who did they mention on 5/15/13?

You have posted about him before. How well do you know him and what schools have offered/close to offering?
I suspect LaTech and ULL will offer him this summer. Outside of the Louisiana, my guess is that Texas Tech and some other Big 12 schools are close to offering scholarships.
As much as he would like to play for LSU, the competition at the respective RB and at CB positions, is elite. To upgrade his stock, he will likely need to do perform well against some elite talent during summer camps and 7-on-7 competition.

Would he consider walking on or is he looking for an offer somewhere?
Joe Ledet is a good student. He plans to be a D1 student-athlete. My speculation is that he will go to where 1) he can get his college education paid for with an athletic scholarship and 2) where he can get playing time.
In-state schools that are giving him the most attention are LaTech and ULL as of now. Out of state, he's getting more attention from Big 12 and ACC schools than from SEC schools.

Agree. Accept what is...now. Work and develop what is...now.
Probabilities are just that...plural. Yet it seems that for Dylan the different probabilities are nice to think about.
Does Dylan play other sports? There are big, strong, athletic basketball players that come to mind in the 6'6" -6'9" range -- like Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, and LeBron James.
For Bo Jackson, football was something to do between baseball seasons.
Or does he write songs? The "Dylan" turns 72 this week -- May 24.

I can see Dylan playing LB if he STAYS under 6'3". I think Dylan's father said a bone study revealed that Dylan is likely to grow to 6'6". If so, his size, speed, strength, and technique will likely start comparisons with Jadeveon Clowney (among others).

Joe is rated 87 (3 stars) by 247. 6'0" 210 pounds
He attended LSU's Junior Day and has been invited to summer camp.
This spring game (May 14) was against South Cameron H.S. Last year the Tarpons were 1-9. Yes, the competition was weak.
On offense Joe lined up at RB, slot, and WR. On nearly every rush or pass reception, he earned a first down. On defense he played CB, and I did not see a single pass attempt to the man that Ledet was covering.

"There is a rumbling IN THE FAR OFF DISTANCE"
This reminds me of the Jimmy/Gino "scoop" last summer about Greg Gilmore being a silent commitment that folks disputed.
Gilmore gave his verbal commitment on November 8. Thus several months of waiting for that rumble to BOOM (or KABOOM).
Counselor Moses' thread title, in my interpretation, is a literary reference to a KABOOM ignited May 14 but might not explode in the media soon but "in the far off distance" of time.
But why would Counselor Moses "leak" a 2014 silent commitment? Why did he repeatedly claim that he would not disclose the full information, because there are folks who are paid to provide such disclosures?
Counselor Moses stated later in the day (May 15) that two gentlemen at 247 had now done their job. What did they do? S/S did not claim that LSU had picked up a commitment on May 14.
I doubt Counselor Moses was simply drumming up subscriptions for 247. Or drumming up business for Tiger Droppings. Or limelighting a recruitment scoop ala prior (and future) scoops.
Aesop has a fable such as this?
