I agree, better oline and we are a 10 win team last year with the shitty qb play.

So far the D seems better, the oline and the run game seems better. We can still get 10 wins with shitty qb play maybe 11 with the refs on our side at home against the tide.

Lee should only come in if our offense sucks the frist 2-3 series. If not he should come in at the end of the game for only a couple of series.

I dont expect Lee to come in and throw pick sixes, but i dont expect him to move the offense consistantly.

So if JL does come in and lights up the offense....

What do you do then? Do you leave him in, and let him start next game???

I think Lee should get some playing time.

Fwiw, I think that will change the debate dramatically.

But not for the better. People think Lee is great, because he isn't Jefferson. They see 2008 through rose-colored glasses.

If JJ keeps playing like Vandy, we are just plain fricked at QB.

Right, but I thought he did so only because he recognized that the staff wasn't going to put him on the field at QB as a true freshmen?

no he didnt, that is the biggest lie on the face of the earth....the kids cousin was my next door neighbor, told me all the time he was frustrated that he didnt get to play more so he moved to WR to get on the field more...the only reason he didnt go to UT was he was promised to be looked at at QB...

I dont give a shite what anyone says i know the truth...they brought him into the office and asked him and he knew he couldnt say no because he wanted to get on the field....he has been hiding it the whole time...and i dont give a shite who questions me, i know the truth...

Yes.

If JJ is still struggling, and Lee moves the offense. . .you keep playing Lee.

If Lee comes in and is careless with the football, you put him back on the bench.

A QB that doesn't win ballgames >>>> QB that loses ballgames

If Lee plays better, he should play. . .if JJ plays better, he should play.

He realizes his best shot for a long and prosperous NFL career is as a wide receiver (offensive utility player). Much in the mold of CJ Spiller, Desean Jackson, Percy Harvin, Rejjie Bush.

He is not an NFL caliber QB. Better to learn the WR position in college than to try to adjust to the decision in the NFL.

End of story.

What are you talking about?

1. There were a couple of drop passes thy would have extended drives.

2. There were a couple of routes not ran to the sticks that should have resulted in first downs if ran correctly.

3. The play calling shifted away from Jefferson so he didn't even have a bunch of looks. He had a 70% completion percentage. He had 4 completions over 10 yards and one pass that was dropped.

4. The OL totally got him killed on the intentional grounding play.

I am not trying to take up for Jefferson completely, but the guy did most of the right things when he was called upon in the UNC game. I would only think a hater would disagree.

He definitely sucked in the Miss St.

So the competition is going to get harder, so you disregard the teams that we should have done better against? WTF?

Well it's two fricking games against BCS opponents. There were a lot of teams not even playing FBS teams racking up stats. Also 1 truly bad passing game and a game where we leaned on the run most of the game due to a lead is not necessarilly going to be indicative of the rest of the season. I didn't say disregard the two games. I said it would probably be better to wait a couple more games then to use a offensive passing ranking as a criticism.

I have also said give Jefferson a couple series to turn it around. If he doesn't bring in Lee.

Some people on this board are obviously retarded.

Moscona said there's no way Lee sees significant snaps unless JJ gets injured. But what if Lee really has improved and throws every ball like the one he threw in Nashville? I can't wait for this Saturday.

If Jefferson is ineffective next week, and maybe the week after that too, you don't think Les will opt for Lee at some point, even if we lose one of those two games because of poor QB play?

lol, hell no

I definitely heard that his new position fit his skill set better and that is why he switched. That was from people who were around him last season.

Well. . .that's what Christians do. . .

I pray that LSU comes through, if JJ is the QB or whomever.

Have I defended JJ against your vile personal attacks on him? Yes. And I will continue to do so.

Lee should have gone in much earlier in the Vandy game. I said as much during the game.

Right now it looks like we have no QB.

I wish you retards claiming the sky is falling would just go ahead and off yourself.

Even if the QB play is no better than last year our team overall is much better.

UF and Bama have both gotten worse and we competed with in our head to head games.

USC looks like the only other truly legit team and they aren't even on the schedule.

We will win 10-11 games with the status quo at QB. We will compete for titles if one of the QBs really get the passing game going.

Last year we had no pass rush and now it looks like a strength.

Last year we couldn't protect the QB and this year it looks improved.

Last year we couldn't run the ball and that looks like a strong point.

I cant believe the fans on here that are happy with jj! You can blame the o line all you want , but if jj was a good qb the o line would be getting praises... instead you are blaming them for his lack of talent. He (we ) are rated next to last in the sec in passing with him at qb. lets quit blaming all the other players for his lack of talent... the o line...recievers that didnt catch the ball...the short passes that didnt make a first down
