We've played some bad teams. I hate rpi though. I don't feel it's that good of an indicator of how good a team is

How is Purdue's RPI higher than ours?
They actually have played the same number of games against the RPI top 100 as we have (and have a better record against them). We have more games against the top 50 however.

yeah, we didn't get a lot of credit for sweeping them.
Remember RPI isn't just based on what you do. Several of our opponents didn't have good weekends either. Appy State, Miss State, Auburn and Arkansas all lost their series.

Looking like Tulane or SLU could be potential regional participants.
Appl St entering rankings - would love to bring them back.
I would not be shocked to see Texas as a potential 2 seed

And we have UK, SC, OM all left on our schedule - with SEC Tourney adding to that.
Our schedule will be taking form as the season continues. Auburn and State have actually panned out to be worse than previously thought.

Purdue has played 25 of their 32 games away from home with only 5 total losses. with the new RPI formula, you'll see more things like this to favor the northern schools who have to travel early in the season

No question. Our RPI will go or stay the same just by playing 3 games against Kentucky this weekend. If we take care of business in the SEC, we have nothing to worry about.

I think NCAA said they were going away from RPI because LSU should have been in last year with their RPI

The official NCAA RPI should be out tomorrow morning, which is the only one that actually matters.

Actually 5, I think you're missing Liberty.
LSU, UK, Baylor, UCF.
still impressive however.
