I can't think of a better recruiting tool for Jay and LSU.

Win the world series and have your two best players drafted 1 and 2. High school kids and guys in the portal, why wouldn't you want to come here?

AVERAGE centerfield? Wtf

Did someone rally day crews was an average CF? If he’s average then what is Langford?

Y’all need to understand that they’re comparing guys to MLB players. He’s potentially an MLB average CF

MLB needs to schedule a Pirates-Nationals game in Alex Box next season. If they can play in Iowa and Williamsport they can play in Baton Rouge

Well, it can get even better if Ty Floyd finds his way into the first round.

Mrs Bigdibber wants to know why they didn't show Crews with his family after he was selected like they did with the other picks?
Think she might have a little crush.

That makes sense. I thought they were comparing him to Langford and others in this class but that’s what I get for not watching and just reading the board.

I admittedly don’t watch a ton of MLB. But from what I do watch if we’re calling average replacement level then I think Crews is definitely an above average center fielder in the MLB right now.

Is Matt Shaw doing this interview from a closet?

the Braves is probably the best case scenario for Floyd. Hometown boy and one of the best developmental farm systems in the sport.

Average is better than replacement level. I think Crews will be an above average CF, but still being average at an up the middle position makes him extremely valuable.

Jay may have a future in broadcasting when he's done at LSU in 40 years.
