He got drafted, though, so he didn't pull out of the draft.

Noot and Jones are already here together, with Neal and Guidry.

Plus Herring, Ackenhausen, and Moffett.

Ruddell is in Baton Rouge now as well, he's playing for a BR team in the Southeast Collegiate League.

To be fair, bombs is just a kid. Noot couldn’t pull his name mid draft just basically say that he’s gonna be a tiger.

So do we think Carter young is coming?

yeah I get it but he, himself, acknowledged a post that he was going to LSU. Not like he got drafted in the 8th round.

There is no "pulling your name" from the draft mid-draft.

I would be pretty surprised if he doesn't.

I'm responding to someone that said he liked a photo of him pulling out of the draft. He didn't pull out of the draft. He also got drafted. So, he liked things that didn't happen.

So do Jobert and Dugas end up returning? Also when did the draft get cut down to 20 rounds?

Shenanigans until August 1 from the Brewers. It won't be over for Noot and Neal until their asses are sitting in a class on the morning of August 2. Is there a class on August 2nd

last year. Went from 50 to 40 several years ago, then down to 5 for 2020, it's been 20 since.

I think 20 is going to be it going forward.

Bingo. Unless they come out and say it very clearly, "Thanks but no thanks. I'm going to school. Leave me alone."

you're being incredibly technical right now. The verbiage was wrong but the context of the post was that he was coming to LSU and if that wasn't the case, don't think he would've acknowledge it from some rando account. Not saying it's 100% confirmed but it's a better sign than none at all.

You just read it the way you want to. That's okay, Colin.

I'm glad the Brewers took both Neal and Noot because there's a 0% chance they can come up with enough cash to sign both those guys that late in the draft. I'm not really all that concerned about it.

This is going to be the best class since the 2014 draft which was stacked even with no Mac Marshall.

That year set up the 2017 run. You had:

Pap
Diechmann
Bain
Norman
Jordan twins
Godfrey
Lange
Stallings

And Latz and Marshall along with Byrd and May. Only 4 guys truly missed.

Any chance his "like" is him being savvy and trying to gain any leverage possible in negotiations with the Brewers?
