Pirates are building themselves quite a pitching rotation for the future.

But that's just nitpicking and the only thing that could keep Correa from being the highest draftee from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy is his commitment to Miami.
I just read this on Correa's player info on the draft cast and about fell out of my chair

Gaus has owned him in limited action.
I'm not sure how that changes what the Mariners need.

Yep. No chance whatsoever that dude touches a college baseball field.

I remember when people got upset about the whole Cecchini situation...turns out in never once mattered

Where are Diaz and Bregman projected? And how low would Gallo have to fall? I know it's all about money, and I doubt he drops lower than 30 or so. Is there even a .0001% chance he comes here?

Appel fricked himself hiring his dumbass agent.
Posted on 6/4/12 at 8:18 pm to LSUAfro
I'm not sure anyone really expected him to go to college.

With the new slotted money if he falls out of the first round the money he makes drops dramatically. And right now the biggest threat is the Braves at 21.

Nah. Don't think they did. But nice to see him go that high just to make sure he doesn't end up at ole piss.

Lucas Simms taken by braves at 21.

Diaz is anywhere from rounds 1s-3
Bregman is anywhere from rounds 2-5

Without knowing what Gallo's thinking tonight I'd say if he's not drafted after round 2-3 then for sure he would have the potential to increase his draft stock after three years.

I would say if he's drafted in the next 8 picks 0%.
The later and later he falls in the comp 1 round if still available the higher his percentage becomes.

Isn't that the guy Joe Pesci pretended to be in My Cousin Vinny?

I guess in all reality it's all about money anyway. There's so many variables involved. But maybe he falls a little more, goes to a team with a low budget. Perhaps a Pirates type? They've got 6.6 mil or so and Appel will command a lot of that.
