I keep saying don't sleep on Merrifield. It's just that he's an unknown to most on this board. This kid is a great defensive player who can also rake!

I'm not sleeping on anybody. They only have 9 spots in the batting order, though. May the best man win. Fall scrimmages are gonna be pretty high level with solid 2 and 3 deep at most every position.

I do, too. I just don't think Kessler is walking through that door. We may get another solid guy in but we'll mainly just have to wait and see how they all develop.

I believe I saw Bianco will be back as well. Does he not have a spot in the lineup? I thought he was one of our better players down the stretch. He had a horrid start but really made up for it down the stretch. He deserves a chance to start somewhere.

He just tore his left rotator cuff, but I'm sure he'll compete for a spot somewhere once he's healed.

Just a simple google search shows a torn rotator cuff can take 6 months to fully heal

You can’t take Morgan off of 1st. That’s some Mainieri BS there. Might as well put Hellmers back at 3rd. Lol

At first glance you would think DH is going to be used to get different combinations and players involved before settling in later in the season.

Yap I foresee a lot of tinkering to get the best guys out there. No favoritism to the old players (hopefully)
