Could we get Labas back?
He is a Sunday starter at worst
I guess he could sign free agent deal after draft

Has control problems, set a school record with 6 wild pitches against lsu in 2019.
Gets alot of strikeouts. Started focusing on pitching only after 2019. Came out gangbusters in 2020 before covid. Struggled to start this year. ERA near 5, walked 30 in 40 ip. His last 6 appearances though out of the pen he was alot better. 10ip 4 walks 6 hits 1er 14k’s

So a lefty middle/spot reliever guy that we hope Kelly can work on with control? Numbers suggest he's got talent, just needs to hone some skills?

He'd be eligible for another year, yeah. Not sure if he wants to come back, or go ahead and try his hand at the pro's. Seems he may be leaning pro, considering Johnson's comment that Labas will sign if drafted. Seems to me he'd just sign a free agent deal if not but, who knows.

Buddy very familiar with SELU was really high on Shaffer before the season but he struggled. Ended the season okay and has had a good summer.

After an early run on our signees, we made out quite well, overall, it appears.
But, of course, we still have to hope we don't have any players suddenly decide they don't want to come here, after all, as has happened before. I won't say their names, but we all know who they are.

I think he tries to sign even if not drafted. I mean he can take offers from ALL major league organizations now
