Well damn I hope not!

I feel confident that the Brewers will not be able to match his very high number if they sign Turang at or above his slot.
If he comes down later on in the summer no can predict that.

Not surprised about Slaughter. Any insight on Duplantis from within the baseball office?

Last I heard he wants to finish his degree.

Good. Would love to see him back. I'm assuming the feeling is Kelly and Cabell both sign?

I'm not so sure about Slaughter. He has all the tools and if he could put it together next season, he could make some serious cash. Last half of the season he hit .292 with 6 homers.
Kelly is probably gone. Cabell I'd say is more likely to come here, but crazier things have happened. His signing could have a lot to do with how much Turang gets.

People wishing Slaughter to be gone are not very smart. He could be a key piece of this team next season.

yea, he has the talent to make a Deichmann type leap.

Cabell is a top 150 prospect that dropped to the 14th round. I’d say that’s a signability drop. The brewers have to sign Turang and the rumor he wants more than his slot.

Both could go either way at this point. All going to come down to signing bonus money that the teams are willing to come off of. Think we have a better shot at Cabell at the moment, but that's more gut feeling than anything.

He should go to the Northwoods League and play a shite ton of games this summer and keep the development going. I really hope he comes back.

I'm not saying I want Slaughter to go. I was suggesting I'm not surprised if signs. I agree that he made much better contact consistently the last 6 weeks or so
I hope he returns. I just don't expect him to. That's all.
I hope you're right about Cabell. He's a big bat. Kelly is very eager to sign and start pro ball from the sounds of things. Others saying he's updated his twitter bio kind of tells the tale there.
Very excited about this class. Next season will be a team like we've grown accustomed to seeing over the years

Slaughter leaving in my opinion would be a big mistake. I think he could make some serious strides and make himself a lot more money next year. Hopefully he has some competent advisors surrounding him.
