I get why this was a thing with Coach E, but why is it a thing now?

I mean I guess. Seems like we led the country in scoring on 1st and 2nd down in 2019.

I don’t know how that changes the fact that red zone and 3rd downs are regarded as the most important in game situations.

Yes. He realized he needed to walk that back.

Why?

O gains or loses nothing by acknowledging Brady calls the plays.

E doesn't seem like the type of person to want to take credit for someone else.

Why the frick would Brady allow E to take the credit?

This whole supposed "coverup" you're alleging makes no sense.

I don’t know how intelligent these new coaches are. I hope that we win more than 75 % of our games with players who have enthusiasm and heart.

What makes no sense is people acting like Ensminger, who in 2018 had all the same players of 2019, was majorly responsible for the drastic change from 2018 to 2019. This isn't hard to figure out.

We've had a PGC for a while now, even before Coach E. And so do a lot of schools

He did mention in that video you linked he’s wasn’t familiar with the spread when he got to Carolina, I thought he would of been running the same thing when he was at Alabama as analyst. Maybe he just means Brady’s type of spread, who knows I’m still excited. Looks like a great man and has a great family, I’m sure he will do great

Who also was in charge in 2020, that showed simplistic formations, conservative play calling, no creativity and complete lack of adjustments (see 2018)...but yeah, he called 90% of plays

1. They literally changed the offense.

2. Everyone got more experienced.

3. The receivers didn't drop 10% of Burrow's passes.

4. The offensive line wasn't a turnstile.

You're right, it isnt that hard to figure out

I want to officially go on record to say I have no idea how this will work out. Don't know what to expect. So 9 months from now when we're firing everyone again nobody can say I was happy over them.

I say that a bit satorically. I wish them the best. Hopefully we see great qb development along with some leadership and a Summer of 10k catches or something along that line.

Is the NC hangover over yet? I hope so.

So basically what you'd do if you had an offense with a bad offensive line and very little experience?

Why could E not start in 2018? Why did it not happen until Brady got here?

Not experienced in what we ran in 2019

Has nothing to do with the schemes and play calls.

Because we stopped running max protect slow developing 2 receiver route plays that required holding the ball for 5 seconds.

I know I'm right. You'll catch up at some point.

He did "start." Go back and watch the UCF game and look at the formations and routes being ran. Then obviously, Brady added many more concepts.

No, they had the most important kind of experience. Game starting experience.

Schemes and playcalling becomes vastly different when your receivers actually catch the ball.

I agree. They also got better. Everyone got better because they all got some experience together.

Well that is what you had in 2018.

I'm curious as to how they should've been more "creative?"

Also, what adjustments do you feel like they didn't make?

I'm going on the record as cautiously optimistic. Young hire, hopefully he is full of piss and vinegar. BUT, this dude has had more jobs than Matt Canada (10 in the last 10 years). He hasn't stayed anywhere long enough to know if he is good or not. I hope he is good and I hope he sticks around. O needs a win on hiring a good coordinator.
