Tom Herman was one of my top choices, as was he for most of the college football world. But that loss is inexcusable in his second year. No defense for it. If I were a Texas fan it would raise some concern for me.

I'll say it. Ed Orgeron is a complete bully/power-hungry moron to fire a guy who did a good job. I don't give a flying frick if half the plays are jet sweeps. We don't beat Florida or Auburn without them. I also still appreciate running a triple option on a 2-pt conversion against Texas A&M. He was a very innovative play caller who outgained Bama in Tuscaloosa and went 6-2 in the SEC.
What I think a lot of people don't understand was that the jet sweep was one of the options that were available on every play we ran. It was a pro-style version of the triple option, which was very unique and effective.

Maryland was a almost a 2 touchdown dog in that game. With all the stuff going on there I’d say that’s pretty impressive win for Canada.

And was let go THREE consecutive years from NC St, Pitt, and LSU.
What’s that say about the guy? If he was the impeccable coach like you guys trying to justify your O hate, he wouldn’t be job jumping like he is....he will probably be let go again at the end of this year after they win 4 games.
