Kickoff for the contest on the “SEC on CBS” nationally-televised game is just after 2:30 p.m. from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
The game will also serve as the second “Magnolia Bowl” which was created in the spring of 2008 by the Student Governments from both schools in an effort to enhance the spirit of the football rivalry between the two schools.

I'm not really into this rivalry as much as the old farts are. Of course they're glory days were when LSU was mediocre so Ole Miss was a huge rival right at our level. It's not the same these days.

They kicked our asses last year on national TV, and this year they've got one of the best skill palyers that we'll face this year. I'd hardly call them runts, not anymore at least.

It's not a big deal when we beat them, but there isn't a team I hate losing to more than Ole Miss.
