Props to this team. Could've folded the tent down by 13....but fought their asses off. This team plays like this...they will wreak some havoc. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I actually like soccer. I just don't like you.
And not Cajun. Or 5 ft.

One more point here....
Why the hell do we not have a damn inbound play that we can get a relatively decent shot on?

Patterson on the bench for four of the last five minutes was the difference. Gray isn't ready. Now his confidence is shot.
This. I don't understand why we continue to run Gray out there at the end of games. Patterson looked great when he was in.

The crazy thing is that it was actually progress as we've struggled to just get the ball in over the last few games.

How does Gray get time?
What does he do?
Honest question?
Gray lacks discipline and gets out of control, but he has the ability to play on an even level against anyone. And he has a cold-blooded streak; he doesn't tighten up under pressure (although he does get wild at times). When he hit that 3 to stop Kentucky's run and start LSU's, a lot of our other players were beginning to short-arm their shots.
He just needs to integrate into the rest of the team, and that sometimes takes awhile.
That was a fantastic game, even in a loss.

Because all of our sports teams are the same. just accept it, and it feels better

Time and time again he took the ball into the paint and either got his shot blocked, forced a terrible shot, or made a really terrible pass. He cost us a couple of key possessions down the stretch. Haven't been that aggravated with a ball handler since Tack Minor.

We didn't score a point in the final 3:52. nothing but terrible trips down the court every time down.
There are 2 reasons we lost that game:
1) gray being in the game
2) coaching
And #1 is because of #2
We played the best game of the year and give it away in crunch time...again.

PG play and coaching hamstring this team. But if they can play like this ROS, they're going to win a lot.

And if Hornsby wouldn't have tripped, it would've worked and he'd have been open.

We lost a lead in the 1st half. Survived Kentucky's best attempt to put us away in the beginning of the 2nd half.
Battled back to take the lead with just an incredible run.
Lost the game on mistakes and not being patient. No refs. We let Kentucky's talent win the game.
Not a JJ issue. It is a player issue. They have to learn to be patient. There is a time to push and a time wait. Until the players learn the timing deal, this will happen again and again.
Good showing by LSU. Might help in the selection process.

Absolutely, played our asses off.
We play like that we can beat anybody.
I especially liked how good Martin played.

..That's how LSU needs to play EVERY game...
Surely you understand that a team can't play at THAT level of intensity every game. Its not pysiologically possible. This game has been circled on tne schedule for months.
The guys can do it a few times a year, but game-in-game-out, you get a lower level of intensity. Its just the way it is.

Dude, Patterson missed about 5 wide open jumpers. He took bad shots and had a couple of his own mental errors. If you're gonna blame any player for this game, it's on Tim and Jalyn. Tim was really bad this game. You could tell he was pressing. Jalyn was too.
