We ended I thought with a higher batting avg. than Moo St?
We haven't 'ended' yet but you're correct that so far our batting average is slightly better than Miss State's average, .290 for LSU vs .285 for Miss St.

ETA: And compared to last season, we are slightly lower this season, .295 for 2016 vs. the .290 this year mentioned above.

I found it very hard to watch this team this year. Hitting was non-existant most of the season except for Deichman & Duplantis. I honestly did not see this club being SEC West Champs with a chance to take overall. Honestly I was thinking maybe a regional. Definitely not a National Seed possibility.

I am here for mine...I really didn't see them being in this position half way through SEC and especially with the mid-week frustrations vs Tulane, UNO etc. I was uber critical of CPM and am ready to eat mine. Seems he has them ready for a post season run, as he has alluded too throughout all the bs. That being said, this team has the line up mix and now bullpen pitching make a hard run into Omaha. Defense is as good as we have ever had imho

I have gone from being a pessimist to being an optimist.

I cannot recall even one comment I made regarding the teams performance that I would rescind. when they were stinking I called it; they WERE stinking.

I try not to bash individual players and I haven't called for PM's head.

I ain't eatin' no frickin' crow.

I didn't watch a single game all year but will be jumping on the bandwagon if they get hot in regionals.

Is that possum still helping win games?

Still not sold...but willing to be patient at this point. I mean, there's not much else to say.
The players obviously read the rant....followed some excellent advice from all the coaches on here....took it to heart....applied it to their particular deficiencies...and are now prospering!!!!!!
