if the kid signs, the advisor gets paid. as long as the advisor isn't throwing money his way and is simply just offering advice/negotiating the contract then there's no issue

Usually I'd say GG > cheerleaders but this year's CL squad is smoking!

$2.6-3 mil, book it, I still say Lee skips it though.

If the Dodgers do offer $3 million, then ZL would probably have to take it.

And I don't think I'd ever root for or watch another MLB team ever again.

the most they ever paid the first round pick is 2.6 so that gives you a good start on where they are going offer.

why does Adam have Leblanc as LSU in the original post in the thread if this is pretty iffy? Just curious because he seems to know his shite here.

actually thats not true.

"technically" the advisor isnt owed anything

but, a kid will almost ALWAYS sign his advisor as his agent and THEN pay him some money.

But an advisor cant have any sort of contract with a kid or the kid will lose his amateur status. but im sure there are plenty of handshake deals going on.

Media not being allowed at football practice this evening....is Miles closing it for a reason? Are they installing the Super Wantango offense, or is it because Lee won't be participating?

my guess

and unlike 99% of the other people on this site, i have absolutely no connections, inside info, sources, nor am i sleeping with any of the coaches' wives

ETA: I also wasnt all parish nor did i coach 2 years of high school ball. so i guess i am an "armchair football guy" with no REAL experience.

No I know Southall is going to a JUCO. I was talking about Jones.

if i had to guess the media today would be more concerned with lee than football. regardless of whether or not he would be at practice (which i heard he was [no source]) i would doubt miles would want a bunch of reporters looking to misquote him running around practice and screwing with not only lee but with the entire team.

good move by miles imo
