The fact that we let her stick around to become the 2nd winningest coach in the history of the program is a little depressing.

I laughed when I saw that but they aint gonna slam her on the release. Nikki seemed like a good person but just couldn't get the job done. Alleva kept extending her for some reason

Alleva allowed her to stay on forever. He wasn’t going to make any changes. Fargas got rich doing just enough to keep her job and got rich

Fargas' tenure would have been good enough prior to our run of five consecutive Final Fours.

I think she was actually a pretty good bench coach. If she would have recruited her arse off, she would have done well here. With her results at UCLA, I was convinced she was the next big thing in WBB coaches.
