Hell yes. Big time re-addition to the def line. We not only needed bodies, but to get a really good player and probable starter as well is huge.

Let’s not greedy. While peak Shelvin is the better NFL prospect, Farrell is probably the more important player for us while moving back to the 4-3. Huge news for 2020 LSU. Still wish Shelvin the best no matter.

I think most of us were understanding with Farrell - he had legitimate reasons and he said he would be back in 2021.

What pisses us off and rightly so is the whole “opt out and focus on the draft”. That’s weak.

Even when Shelvin was here this fall, he wasn't ALL here.
He had to know what kind of sacrifice would be required to get down to about 330, and he wasn't willing to do it. He took the easy way out and it will cost him dearly.
