I believe Lavar Edwards will have a more productive NFL career than Sam Montgomery.

That is bold.. but very possible

I would say this. But our successful history of DB's in the NFL makes me think twice.

I don't see any bust.

I see Logan and ware/ford exceeding expectations.

Ware will be a dependable back, and a bargain at where he is currently projected. Has all the tools, though I don't think he will be a superstar.

If Mingo is drafted by a 3-4 team to play outside linebacker, he could be a consistent all-pro.

Simon is the most likely to be a bust. Yes, LSU does a great job of DB prep, but he is coming out a year early, IMO.

I am rooting for all of them to succeed.

scout.com's front page hi-lites Mingo as a possible top pick to Chiefs. KC fans are probably saying NOOOO. LSU Defenders suck.

I'm not saying he will be a bust because he may go undrafted, but Spencer Ware doesn't impress me

Completely disagree. I think Ware will have a very solid NFL career. Ware was the toughest runner we've had here in many years. The guy was a beast to bring down and always moved the pile forward. Good enough speed, hands, and blocking. Reminds me a bit of Jacob Hester.

I think Minter will have the longest career of them all.

I think you are mistaking him with Stevan Ridley who does answer to that description. Ware was hard to bring down by defensive backs if he got into the secondary. He was very easy to bring down at the line and I never saw him really move a pile.

With his size he could play safety or corner depends on how hard these guys work IMO. Bust? Man you can never tell what these guys will do. I def. agree they should/could have all come back they all could use it!!! I think Lavar will be the surprise!

This whole team this year was lazy! 2011 was a diff team, more leaders and stayed Hungary. The NFL is full of locker room leaders and I think you guys are totally wrong about Simon, dude is a hell of an athlete, I think the whole team just got lazy and it trickled down, look at Reid, the year he had in 2011 then compare to 12. Reid has a better chance of busting then Simon IMO! If Simon caught all those balls he dropped?? But nah I don't think we see too many busts in this one!

Ware can run up the middle, catch ball out of the backfield, throw out the backfield, play special teams. He was 1 of 5 RBs in a 1970s offense. He had a "weekend at Bernie's" type head coach.
