It’s one of the best parts of the pregame experience.
And you are just a sad sack.

I mean I love callin Baton Rouge
I love Louisiana Saturday night
I love When they play Bitch I’m from Louisiana
A large crowd signing any upbeat song is actually pretty fricking fun.

I like hip hop/rap to play at games. That gets the players pumped, it gets the fans going.. Nothing wrong with rap.
As for as Calling Baton Rouge. It's an okay song, I like it more now because it has become a LSU tradition than I did before it was.
Whatever gets people juiced up is good with me... But I will say, I do not like Louisiana Saturday Night.

Love this clip, for nothing else to prove those wrong who say, “18-23 year old kids don’t get pumped up for that song, only the old white guys in the crowd do.” Awesome.

1. You already called Callin Baton Rouge a booty call song, so clearly You dont Even know the words.
2. Garth Brooks is probably the best Country Music Artist of the 1990s
3. You’ve already said you prefer Bitch I’m from Louisiana. Let’s not pretend that’s one of the greatest rap songs ever written that anyone who appreciates music would like.

1. No I didn’t
2. No he wasn’t. shite, even Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain were better
3. Pretending it was a great song has yet to be mentioned.
For a lawyer, you’re pretty terrible at developing an argument.

1. You’re right that was LSU2006
2. Well that’s your opinion, or your lesbian book club’s opinion. Garth Brooks actually won the Artist of the Decade award from the CMAs. So objectively as far as the Artist of the Decade award goes, it’s Garth baby.
3.
I said prefer. You said rather. Regardless, CBR is a much better country song than BIFL is a rap song. Hardly debatable.
For a dummy with bad taste you’re great at being a dummy with bad taste.

I say as an old fart that we have to adapt and learn the language. - enjoy the moment. So piss on those that don’t like anything that gets people fired up. One constant through generations of students at LSU is how we get songs banned. We are like a continual generation of “Animal House” kinda folks that don’t give 2 shits what you think and will piss on you if you don’t like us. If you do, then we will get drunk as frick and party our asses off until daylight win, lose or draw.
There are a lot more younger folks than people like me. So adapt.

Baton Rouge by Garth Brooks is single-handedly the worst tradition LSU has. Possibly all of the NCAA. Thank god it's not actually a Garth Brooks song. It makes it sting a little less.

Lol some people on this board will complain about anything. More people than not like the song including LSU players apparently so I'm sorry a few guys on here dont like it because "its about a booty call" and "has nothing to do with LSU". I mean Stand Up and Get Crunk didnt have shite to do with the Saints and was by some Atlanta guys but it was still the jam everytime we scored for awhile including in the Super Bowl.
There's gonna be stuff you like and stuff you dont in life, just go to the games and have fun.
Damn.

Could be worse, at least it's not a Luke Bryan song!

You’re the definition on a hater.
WVU has Country Roads
UT has Rocky Top
Garth may be the most famous artist in country history. Calling Baton Rouge is a very short song. It’s only played once and only at home games. It’s over in 2 mins. You may need to accept it and get on with your life.

Country Roads & Rocky Top are excellent songs performed by their original artist. Not some poppy cover. Country Roads was actually written for Johnny Cash. Pretty badass imo.

Put down the crack pipe. It’s getting worse the more you write.
