Yes, he literally said this in his OP.

So you think lsu has a better d than Bama or state? Right

I would rather have LSU's defense, with the players and coaches they have, than Mississippi States, yes.

Why not answer my question? What are you using to determine LSU is the third best defense, and passing it off as fact?

I bet he doesn't point out that Georgia was down 3 of their top 4 defensive linemen for the LSU game.

I'm certain the 4 turnovers won't come up, either.

Ok, we can agree to disagree.

I didn't see an elite defense or offense on the field this year, you and others. Obviously you agree with a member of the team bashing his brothers, I do not.

I guess I'm a little old school and was taught to keep that type of talk internal to the team.

Either way, have a great day and

Has there been an objective, rational analysis yet? I look forward to it.

“ Alabama game completely removed”

Can we remove the Bama game from the 2011 season as well? Let’s do that and look at our record and scoring that year too.

When we have to cherry pick to make a point, we have loss . imo

The argument that LSU outscored all secw teams other than Bama? That argument? Or the argument that LSU was at best 3rd best d in the sec

He doesn't know. It just sounds good to him and makes him think that he's done something.

There is a lot of truth in the OP. We compete well with anyone not named Bama. As you show, we competed well offensively this year, and tied for second in the west. Look at wins over the last decade, we are right there in the 2nd teir with Ga and Fl; but well behind Bama.

The problem is, fans dont want to be arguably 2nd best. We want to win championships.

Bama became the best. They have stayed the best for a while now because they never stop improving. LSU needs to have that mindset; instead of looking back and saying "but, but, we were 2nd best if you look at it from this angle."

Guys guys...don't you know that Tiger Ree alter...I mean Tillman... already explained this??? This is how football works. The offense can only win games and the defense can only lose them. Come on! Get with the program!

Since the OP doesn't like S&P+ efficiency stats, here's another way to look at it.

LSU kicked 25 field goals on the season.

3 more than Ole Miss.
3 more than Texas AM.
6 more than Arkansas.
10 more than Auburn.
13 more than Alabama.
16 more than MSU.

Essentially, the OP is giving LSU's offense credit for not scoring TDs.

There can't be one, which is why you see them ducking questions left and right. They can't answer some of these questions without contradicting the rest of their argument. So they pretend they aren't reading the questions, or redirect them.

Still waiting. Ben is avoiding it like the plague and the alter has shown he doesn't really know how to spin it other than using it to claim LSU's defense is "middle of the pack".

If you think this offense is going to just magically become good enough, you’re unrealistic.

Village idiot number 1.

Why do you pick and choose what to respond to, but ignore questions being asked directly to you? You and Tiger Ree are almost all the way backed into a corner here. It's time to move on to a fresh thread to start all over.

It doesn’t “piss me off” it just doesn’t tell the real story so your stats are irrelevant. Plus, I hate to tell you but you can’t just take out the BAMA game as it’s a team LSU has to beat if it wants to be champions. But hey you are happy with what LSU accomplished this year then good for you but to me since LSU blew theTAMU game unless they win the bowl game I don’t see much difference from this year and last.

This "Tillman" character claims there is a, "Chicken Army."

I've been on this site for 10+ years, and the full-throated and unrepentant defense of Orgeron is often as organized and relentless as anything I've ever seen.

SJW's on twitter don't fight this hard for their agenda.

LSU was no better than 8th in the SEC in total offense, total yards, passing, or rushing. You call that good? Points doesn't consider field position or field goals when you're red zone offense was shite etc. I get that points wins the game however the defense has an affect on that statistic way more so than the above mentioned stats.

You idiots have been arguing with yourselves for 12 pages. The man has said repeatedly that the offense wasn't very good, just not as bad as they've been made out to be. As usual the truth is somewhere in the middle but you are all such retards that you can't let somebody that doesn't hound the frick out of the coaches go. You have to go all out against them. OP has had you going for 12 pages with no relief in sight. fricking hilarious.
