Cherry picking parts of quotes on the board is priceless and then turning them into negative threads.

Thanks for posting the entire quote and nothing wrong with what O said

Have you been actually listening to coach O the last 5 years? He does that. If it’s good or bad depends on how you feel about it but the net effect is likely ZERO.

He needs to win 9 games, or else the seat will get pretty hot. (See Chiz 2011-2012)

How on earth would three losses be acceptable given the talent and experience on the roster and the new handpicked coordinators?

O will eventually fail and a lot of you will get your wish, because O is not Nick Saban and we're not in the ACC.

I just hope when it happens, can't miss homerun hires like Larry Fedora, Scott Frost, Tom Herman & Jim Harbaugh will consider replacing our idiot shrimp boat captain coach who talks like the Cookie Monster. 2019 was solely because of Dave Aranda (2-7 at Baylor) and O lucking out with a reject Ohio St. QB.

This is something he’s done since day 1. Prior to 2019 he’s compare every player to Warren Sapp or Matt leinart or Reggie Bush. He’s trying to say the player has some of the same qualities but in actuality he’s puttting unreal expectations on these kids.

I’m a big O guy so I’m not just bitching to bitch, OP is 100% correct. He needs to chill on the comparisons.

I hope O is around for a long time. As a former coach, I understand the immense pressure that are put on coaches to win and to continue winning. He's doing an outstanding job recruiting and he's proven he's a solid HC. No coach is perfect, but considering LSU is in the toughest conference and division in the country, I think he's done a remarkable job overall! My only complaint is he likes to compare every player to the 2019 team and that's not fair to the current players.

O has clearly stated he doesn’t know if there will ever be another Joe Burrow, y’all are tripping with saying he compares.. the media likes to compare, he’s pretty good with pumping the breaks. Although he did let me down by pumping me up ab the defense last year. One thing he is good at is getting us as the fan base and the players to believe they can be great, and there’s nothing wrong with that just because we had a down year. This year will be the true hype test. They need to be a lot better then last year for job security.

Such things may prompt one to wonder if CEO know just what the heck he is doing.

Orgeron had other priorities last year. That’s the long and the short of it. He gers credit. He gets blame. He’s the head coach, but after last year’s godawful performance I seriously doubt he can win it again.

Unlike most, I give O a pass for last year. We lost a ton to the draft and then players started opting out at the last minute. It's unfair to judge any coach when things happen out of their control. Going 5-5 was a miracle considering all the craziness that we going on.

How many elite coaches need a “pass” after being on the job for five years?

Lol...we lost our entire team, AND had our best players sit out the season. This would be a huge challenge in most years, but without practice time...it was impossible. Not to mention we apparently had some locker room cancers. When Indiana performs in the SEC I'll take that statement seriously.
