Other teams are firing their coaches whose teams have better records

I guess he is since technically he was present when LSU won it.

Is it that unreasonable to think along those lines?

If he was involved in any of the title 9 stuff he'll be fired.

If he's totally lost the locker room, to the point that the recruiting class falls apart and a lot of the roster leaves in January, he should be fired.

If neither of the above are true, I don't think it's unreasonable to give him another year to right the ship.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think he deserves it either, but I'd bet the farm he's atleast here for 1 more year.

You do understand that there’s a scandal going on, right? Name a school where the hc survives a scandal like this.

It seems like y'all think I'm advocating for the guy, I'm not.

he will get a chance to right the ship

He's had all season to do exactly that. He even says it, "Put this on me, gotta get it fixed, blah blah" but very little has changed from Game 1 to now. The defense has played better in the last two games but I still think Pelini was a terrible hire.

O needs to make some major changes and he needs to do it soon. Quit blaming the fans for what's going on. There's a major disconnect between his players and himself. That's obvious. When the HC loses his locker room, that's concerning to see. It could turn into a snowball effect where he loses more players, recruits, the school loses revenue for it's largest revenue maker. None of that is good.

He's the HC. It starts with him. Just like last season. You get glory but you also get the bad too and eyes are looking at him to fix it. If he doesn't, and soon, he could find himself in some very hot water.

Again, I'm not calling for him to be fired but there are some things hovering around the program that is troubling, to say the least.

He needs to right the ship and also I don't think any new coordinator hires should be entirely left up to him. He needs to get these hires right and his track record of hiring the 'best' coordinators isn't very reassuring.

Again...we won’t have a choice. We can’t keep him if he’s implicated.

I have no idea. I just know I’ve never seen a hc survive a scandal like this.

I've seen it, Will Wade, there's a fricking recording of him, he's a disgrace to the University, yet he's still here, and he's losing, I have lost all hope that those in charge jettison the coaches who tarnish this great university as a whole.
