The roster has not been this depleted since 2003. 2000 is the best comp. Hopefully the next 4 yrs feel like the 2000-2003 run up to a championship. That’s was actually really fun times.

Yeah. Let's compare the talent Saban left Miles to the talent O left Kelly.

Idiot.

Did you attend the Troy game? I did and it felt worse than any 20 point loss I can remember.

Yes. I overreacted and said “Curley 2.0”

Felt pretty silly sitting in the same seat watching 50-7 against Aggy.

And you don’t think O would have gotten transfers? We needed a kicker and a quarterback after 2017, and I’d say he got a pretty good one of each from the portal.

Thanks for tipping your hand you fricking sidewalk mouth breather. You remaining O nutlickers are fricking insane and nothing but a cancer on this program and fanbase. He’s the worst coach to lead LSU since Curley Hallman. Thankfully, the staff carried him for a few years before he ran us into the ground.

You mean the HC at Baylor was a great defensive coordinator with talent he recruited and the freaking program was at a full scholarship limit. Apples and oranges but good try tool.

thought it was worth pointing out that aside from two games against a dominant program, we were always in every game in Death Valley into the 4th quarter.

And got our assed kicked by less dominant programs too….forgot that crap.

Kelly hasn't been blown out at home at night!

I can cherry pick criteria to make my point as well. Dumb thread is dumb

Let’s first worry about just who in the blue hell would have taken coordinators positions that’s worth their damn salt after he’d gone through 4 OC’s and 3 DC’s in 5 years. He wouldn’t have gotten any decent transfers. Everyone saw where the program was headed, especially the recruits and their parents. Get that O stuff out of here. He is the primary reason the program is in the shape that it’s in right now.

CBK, even though he’s a good coach, he’s not a miracle worker. No matter what happens, I guarantee that Kelly will leave the program in far better shape than he found it. If not for Burrow, O would have been gone after the 2018 season. He was never a headcoach. He just had Aranda already onboard and Joe burrow basically fell into his lap. Who was the competition for him? Cincy? He IED’d the program, got paid, and goes around giving speeches, making jokes about it like he’s proud of himself.

I appreciate him for 2019, but that’s where the appreciation began and where it ends. He would done nothing but damage(if that’s even possible) the program even further had he been allowed to stay.

O’s lack of appreciation for Aranda was one of his worst blunders.

I’m not saying the guy was perfect, but he had shown the ability to bounce back from disappointing seasons and a willingness to adapt.

I don’t think Kelly’s ego would allow him to go out and get a Joe Brady to help design a scheme to fit his personnel.

Instead he wants to recruit a bunch of tight ends and force the same scheme that’s gotten him 0-4 in BCS/CFP games at ND.

Kelly went 4-8 at ND in 2016 and followed it up by never winning less than 10 over there again. He's bounced back before too.

It's year 1 my guy, coming off of a combined 11-12 record the past 2 seasons. If we're still looking like this in year 2 and 3 then we should be worried.

How bout the talent Miles left Orgeron?
#2, 6 ,2, 6 and and already laid the groundwork for #7 in '17.
Only thing missing Bill Busch pointed him to and E found Brady.

Miles can thank Brandon Harris for your moral victory, because he damn sure got his arse kicked all over Tiger Stadium for 3 quarters and 3/4 of the 4th by State in 2014. Let’s not forget that.

Too bad games are 4 quarters. Hilarious in a thread about 20+ point losses you bring up a game where we were an extra foot of air under a throw away from winning.
