O and Alleva need to understand: Ensminger is unacceptable

1) He scored zero in his attempt against Bama.
2) He is NOT compatible with the "Binder Agreement". All Tigers expect "the best OC". He is not near to that class.
3) The Aranda retention is awesome, but is mutually exclusive to the OC hire.
4) The Canada situation gives the entire Tiger Nation strong concern about Coach O "meddling" in the Offensive mix. Ensminger is O's boy, so this concern is valid for such a hire.
5) It is MANDATORY that LSU football acquires a modern, innovative, young-minded and capable OC and QB coach. We have suffered FOREVER, and NOW is the time to make a bold move to correct that long term joke of an offensive situation.
It's a slam dunk NO.
Geaux get a stud OC. Now.
No compromises. No experiments. No excuses.
Geaux Tigers.

I can’t stand the leadership and think O a poor hire, but feel confident it will not be Ensminger.
The thing that scared the hell out of me was in some of this evenings reporting on this issue there was reference to Ensminger as the OC assisted by 73 year old Jerry Sullivan in a consultants capacity.
That trial balloon needs to be shot out of the sky.

O wants briles but Alleva and the hire ups are afraid. Why I don’t know other than they don’t have much of a back bone so expect ensminger and somebody else to be co-OCs which is just stupid but its my prediction

We would be set back 10 years. He's an ok OC and would thrieve at a program like Rice but he's not what LSU needs or wants. We cant put a band aid on this

I don't have a problem with Ensmingers ability as an OC for LSU. The Offense improved greatly when he took over last year. HIs ability to be a top level OC is not in question to me. He proved that last season. Not sure that he can run any thing other than Pro style though. We need to make a bigger splash with a younger big name. It's more about perception it seems., especially with this fan base, than actual ability and we need a coach the fan base will get around. WE don't need all this turmoil that will occur if O doesn't hire a big name that the fan base won't support and will relentlessly bash.
It's very important for the fan base to support this staff just for national perception, but also for recruiting, retaining players, getting a fairer shake from the refs, the SEC office, etc. So getting the right name, regardless of ability, is very important.

Short term memory?
That’s what we said about the DL coach in 2016.
