Winning their conference is what gets them an automatic invite into a regional. RPI only matters for atlarge and national seeds. Most small mid-major conferences are only going to get their conference champ in the tourney.

Trying to get a win for their fans? Lmao. Even if the game was in natchitoches (which will never happen), it would still be 90% LSU fans.

I thought the link I gave said that conference's automatic bid goes to the conference tournament winner?? No big deal either way.

But it's obvious NSU would celebrate a win over the defending CWS champions.

Game time: 6 PM.....less than an hour from now!

a contract was signed 37 minutes ago. it will unfortunately only be televised on New York 1, a New York City-based cable station.

The pattern of in-state schools throwing their Ace against LSU then going on to lose their more-meaningful conference series continues.

doesn't happen nearly as often as people say.

Of course not. No teams in the state care about beating LSU.
