Ive tried to preach this for 2 years, but just get downvoted to oblivion.

Nuss is horribly inaccurate when throws are longer than 20 yards. He was at 33% Completion until the last 3 games of the year. Hilton got a ton of long catches agaisnt really bad DBs so our fan base swore it was separation issues. Wasn't the case.

Nuss' progression some times is abysmal. Instead of quick reads, he stays on the first read hoping they get open. Usually his 2nd or 3rd read is open, but he holds on his 1st so long that his throw is late.

Our passing concepts are fine. We run screen plays because our run game is awful. Thats due to our Oline being kind of weak. Notice we dont pull to much? Our RB vision is questionable as well.

Nuss tends to panic under "pressure". Sometimes the pressure is there, sometimes it isnt. But this is when it becomes a problem. He rarely pushes up in the pocket, but instead does this weird run backwards which leads him to throw off his back foot. It also leads to big sacks because any DT is faster than Nuss running backwards.

Last problem with Nuss, and it pisses me off so much. We never take the 1v1. We have Barrion Brown and Nick Anderson. Dudes have HOPS. They can go get it.

I believe Nuss thought the flag was on UF, which gave him a free play.

That actually makes it worse, considering he thought he had a free play and THAT was the free play throw he was gonna take?

Prolly lead at least to two losses.

Nussmeier lost at least 2 for us last year, and freak miracles kept him from losing 2 more (OM and USCe). He has not improved. Our defense may keep us in a few despite his best (worst) efforts.

A lot of folks were riding high on him after the Clemson game. He showed no signs of improvement in that game whatsoever.

The most frustrating thing about the BK years is that it’s always something. We get the defense fixed, but our QB situation is terrible and OL problems.

Next year, we’ll lose Baker based on his performance this year. We will hopefully get a transfer QB which may solve a lot.

2022 - understandable
2023 - all time offense but all time bad defense
2024 - so/so offense and so/so defense
2025 - defense fixed, loaded at several skill positions, but the most important thing, QB, is terrible.

Oh well.

When they let him come out and throw downfield on 1st down we have had success

Like when he threw an interception on the first possession against La. Tech?

Its a combination of things not just nuss. He is a deciding factor in the issues but not the sole person responsible for the miscues and hangups.

Oh wow one fricking play. I swear yall are a bunch of damn delusional women that have made your mind up regardless of reality. Aside from that all year we have had success doing so

The irony of saying others are ignoring reality..

Through the first two games, Nussmeier was 1/9 (11%) with 1 INT and 0 TD on passes >20 yards downfield.

On first down (when you argue we’ve had success) he was 1/7 (14%) with 1 INT and 0 TD.

So 1) almost all of our deep throws prior to last night were, in fact, on first down and 2) we have not, in fact, been successful throwing deep on first down or otherwise.

We can argue about receiver drops or whatever else but the fact is it’s simply wrong to say we’ve had success all year in the deep passing game. Reality is the exact opposite. Nussmeier had the second-worst completion % in the conference on deep throws going into this weekend.

You are literally retarded. Stick to breaking down the special Olympics because you don't know shite about QB play.

The Nuss haters went from “all he can do is throw it deep” to “he can’t throw the deep ball”.
