And yet, Nuss sucked when it mattered most. From 1st round to 7th round and a mystery injury that hes never had surgery on or even announced that it actually happened from the Nuss camp.
Its crazy how many fans still believe Nuss is/was good during his time at LSU when every single stat proves otherwise.
Stop repeating "but 4k yards" and really deep dive into his TD/Int ratio agaisnt SEC opponents or the fact that he had a CAREER 23% completion on throws over 25 yards.

yeah those stats sure do measure pocket presence, awareness, audible proficiency, where balls were thrown and if he read a D as well as the others! also great job linking the film studies on all 3 to compare.

Nuss had been with the team for 3 years in an established offense. Are you really comparing that to 3 QBs that were either coming in for the Spring (Leavitt, Daniels) and Summer (Burrow).
Those will make a massive difference in comfort with the offense.

For all the hate Nuss gets, he is a Coach's son and understood progressions very well. Thats not really the case with a lot of College QBs.

Just like Burrow in his first LSU season he had no quality experienced receivers.
When Nuss had Thomas and Nabers, he was a. first round draft choice.
When he was injured, with no NFL quality receivers, he slipped to almost last in the draft.
His Kansas City, HC, Reid, has had nothing but praise for Nuss' performance from the start of Pre Season Camp.
Said his command of the huddle, no matter the circumstance, showed maturity beyond his experience.
Not my words but Reid's.
I know the same scouts who were predicting JR All Pro career, are still posting and exposing their knowledge.

Yeah! He has gone through Mini Camp with the Chiefs and Pre Season games with the Chiefs and still has that "Crazy" Coach Reid fooled.

Nuss has elite arm talent. He is the son of a QB coach. Prior to the start of last season Todd McShay was talking about him as a potential No. 1 overall draft pick. We'll never know how good he could have been due to BK's mismanagement of everything. Last year Nuss was injured, had a bad O Line, and had no running game for support.
