I'm sorry but Nussmeier can't scramble. In this day and age, if you can't run as a quarterback, you're not going to win 50% of your games. With that said, Go Tigers!

Running quarterbacks have been the future for a long time.

Qb scrambles after failed pass plays are drive-savers.

Friendly reminder that Nuss is tied for the most passing TDs in the nation right now with 8

Are we getting a new HC before he leaves?

There’s a problem with the offensive line as far as run blocking goes, there’s an issue with our rush defense, and especially an issue with our pass defense. And you want to blame Nuss for not taking us to the promised land? If all those other three areas improve, he certainly would.

What a stupid take. Not only can he scramble, but there are plenty of successful non-mobile quarterbacks.

Well at least it only took one sentence for everyone to know you have no idea what you are talking about.

Agreed

He's so slow and flat footed and that's why he keeps getting sacked

Nuss looks better in his first year than both Burrow and Daniels, Would anyone disagree with this?

The greatest QBs of all time are not runners. I don't know why people proclaim it's either exclusively one way or the other buy the simple fact is a system that can make a pocket QB successful is the system most likely to remain consistent. Constantly changing your offense to be perfectly tailored to the exact skills of the QB will always have you changing your system significantly.

LSU fans also seem to have a short memory as they watch one type of success and assume every single instance of success going forward must look exactly like the most recent case of success you experienced.

Nussmeier is as capable as any QB.

24.5
1.07
18.5
13.6
13.5

Rushing yards per game of the last 5 national championship winning quarterbacks. Nuss is as athletic as any of the last five except for maybe JJ. He has the ability to move IMO, just the pocket has been so clean and his decision making has been so sharp he has not had to use his legs to scramble and pick up first downs YET.

Wait, so you're saying that Joe Burrow, while a good scrambler, was not a running QB?

Say it ain't the fricking so...

and yet, the last 4 national championship qbs actaully averaged only around 15 yards a game rushing...........LMAO at the stupidity. I think Nuss can easily average that or more.....he is still a 4.7 type guy and I suspect will start running in opportune times more often. What an idiotic post.
