Awesome. Can’t wait to hear how he’s hurt again from BK when Nuss shits the bed again.

Unless he simply handed the ball off there and it was a straight run play?

Not a chance that was a straight handoff... that's a read

This is a big issue. Been saying they just need to move Bordelon to TE and let him block full time.

Donovan Green is an actual blocking TE who has proven he can catch effectively when given the opportunity. Bringing in Bordelon is basically screaming “here comes a run,” to the defense.

Do you understand what a RPO is?

Yes.

Do you understand I have not mentioned RPO in this thread? Go bitch at someone else.

ETA: I had not mentioned it at the point of your post. I have since mentioned it a time or two.

I know. 100% he didn't.

Well, maybe 99.99483475387485% because I think he did that once in the last few years....

maybe but it looks like he is making a "READ" of the DE. which screams zone read.

It could still be an RPO. Inside Zone Read Slip, QB reads the DE to determine whether to hand the ball or pull and throw to the TE or WR in the flat.

I had to look that up, thanks for making me work, you fat bastard

There is no way they are running any traditional read option plays for Nuss where he pulls and runs, right?

You can tell he gave it to the back by the position of his left eyelid. That’s always the tell.

He’s responding to your insinuation that it must be a zone read. He’s right, it could just as easily (more likely, even) be an RPO.

Anybody who thinks he doesn't have an injury that's affecting his throwing motion/abilities just isn't being truthful, doesn't know what they are saying and doesn't pay attention to detail. It is very obvious he doesn't have the velocity he had from last year.

OK.

Then why is he practicing/playing vs SLU when he could have used that week to help heal his injury? Why are you continuing to play him in a game (Ole Miss) when it's "obvious" he's physically limited and you have a backup QB with nearly as many SEC starts (7) as Nussmeier (9, not including the OM game) you could insert? Why is he practicing during a bye week (even if just on a limited basis)?

IF he's injured to such a degree that it's dragging down the offense to the bottom 1/3rd of the country, then it seems like the coaching staff is doing everything possible to hamper his ability to heal which, if you believe his injury is the biggest problem, is absolutely necessary to LSU's success.

The logical conclusion is either:

(A) if he's injured, it's not the primary reason for LSU's significant struggles on offense, or

(B) the staff is a collective group of morons because they are continuing to do things to limit his ability to heal, rather than doing everything possible to get him well so the offense can start playing well.
