Lmao we’re bragging about Nuss making a roster? Dude was hyped to be a first round pick with more talent than Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels on this board.

His highs are tantalizing enough to make him hard to quit

Objectivity matters
The last 3-4 drives or whatever of the 2024 OM game were beautiful and he himself looked great.
It was enough that everyone forgot how awful he looked prior to that which is Lester’s point.

The Nuss thing on this board is so weird
He was neither great or terrible
He was equivalent to a late round QB who hangs around on the practice squad or maybe 3rd string
And guess what, that’s exactly what he is doing. I have no idea why we can’t all just agree on this very obvious middle ground

I can agree to that but guys on here are acting like he’s some kind of super star when in reality he was a poor man hatch

Well, I just happen to have rewatched the 2024 Ole Miss Game 3 nights ago, and it was PAINFUL (actually/really) watching Nuss! I think he was like 12 for 42 at the end of first half.
Yes, I'm glad he was able to complete passes in the end for an LSU win. But it should have never ended in a tie game and go to overtime. LSU's Defense won that game!
The think that was so enormously frustrating watching Nuss play was his utter lack of "feel" while passing the ball. It's like he had "no connection, chemistry or feel" with the wide receiver or play in general. HE WAS OUT OF SYNC with the rest of the team. His TIMING was attocious. The ball would be thrown just a little or a lot too hard, soft, long/short, high/low! The receiver would be OPEN and would often SEEM like he dropped the pass. But if you know what you are looking at & understand that TOUCH & TIMING are Crucial....especially when you're dealing with the speed of these players, plays and where millimeters make the difference between success/failure!
Nuss, I believe, was selfish and played as though he was "all alone" and/or "on a one man team". Thus, the reason he had NO leadership, communication skills. He simply could not "Connect".
He is NOT a good QB. And he was exceedingly frustrating to watch at LSU. He "out of syncness" had a demonstrable and dismal effect on the entire team, every player - especially offense.
Rewatching that Ole Miss game was Brutal. I wanted to vommit.

So what does a non dumabss say about Nuss?
He should have been a first round pick and will be top 10 on the nfl?
He will be an nfl starter?
What is it?

How about about not saying he’s worse than Hatch
It’s absolutely ridiculous and only makes you haters look like the tards you all are. Criticize away but the over blown hatred is so obvious it’s pathetic. One idiot was bitching about a 300 yard 3 td game Nuss had like it was the worse game ever. And we fricking won that game
You are blinded by hatred and don’t even realize what you have become. Of course you will roll your eyes and deny while your boy Nuss is still in the NFL
Will he ever start? Possible
Will he be Back up forever? Possible
Will he get cut next year? Possible
But one thing is for certain you idiots don’t know shite

So you can’t answer what a reasonable take on Nuss is. Got it
Posted on 8/31/26 at 9:14 am to lsupride87
Like you are the moral authority on reasonable
Posted on 8/31/26 at 9:16 am to Dickaroos
I think I have been extremely reasonable on Nuss
Posted on 8/31/26 at 9:34 am to lsupride87
Well that would make you delusional.
Posted on 8/31/26 at 10:16 am to Dickaroos
Ok so it’s delusional to say Nuss we as an average SEC qb and not an nfl finder starter
So if that’s delusional, tell us what’s a reasonable take on Nuss

Answer
Wait and see. It's obvious that professionals, after watching him perform at KC, have a higher opinion of Nuss than many LSU fans.
He should have been a first round pick and will be top 10 on the nfl?
Answer
Would he have been a first round selection if he had gone into the draft after his Junior season? So far, he has outperformed the first guy chosen in the Draft.
He will be an nfl starter?
Answer
If he stays healthy and Mahomes is injured, YES.
What is it?
Posted on 8/31/26 at 10:27 am to Gus007
It’s obvious professionals have a higher opinion?
The NFL professionals drafted him in the 7th round and have him as a 3rd string QB
That’s the NFLs opinion on Nuss

Whenever Nuss starts his first NFL game will you finally shut the frick up and admit you’re wrong?
we all know u won’t but a man can dream
Average SEC QBs don’t get drafted and make an NFL roster

Hell let’s just look at Nuss draft class. Taylen Green went 6th round and made a roster. What would you call him?
