We've been hearing for over a year now that Nuss has some mystery injury

Maybe he just isn't good enough

DCs have figured out if you drop 7 or 8 and play some zone, it really bothers him.

Then we should easily be able to pick up 5-7 yards on every running play but our o-line cant run block a 3 down lineman front. Thats the heart of the matter.

Sloan is a conference usa OC. What did you expect

All of this can be true and Nuss also is a massive disappointment. Kid was the odds on favorite for the heisman and #1 overall pick

All of sudden he's forcing balls into triple coverage and his arm has regressed so much that he doesn't have the gun slinger ability to get him out of trouble like he did last year. At least then he could zip it with such velocity that he could make some stupid throws work.

Evening is weak and wobbly out of his hand now and his deep balls are fricking atrocious.

Oline has been a massive disappointment and Brad Davis has to go.

Sloan is clearly in over his head and even with superior talent he can't manufacturer a run game.

Also Nuss just isn't that good. Right now I don't think he's a top 15 QB in the country

It bothers him because the 3 or 4 are still getting pressure.

Easily the most concerning thing about Nuss right now. Ball is just floating, don’t care what the route is… literally got Anderson knocked out the game. If whatever he has, physical or mental, is bothering him this much… he needs to sit. This offense looks like a second team offense with Nuss.

He was on pace to become LSU’s third most prolific passer in school history. Most of us assumed the only things that he needed to work on this season were not being such a gunslinger and become more efficient with his legs when needed. Something has happened. I don’t know what that is.

He's not a top 50 QB, and has more experience and talent around him than 90% of his peers. Total and complete regression.

Only guy who is less mobile was Peyton Manning, and he was successful in a very different QB era. Now, you have to be dual-threat or else.

He’s having trouble seeing windows and is just checking down all the time.
. I actually think Nuss can see the zone and read it.

The problem is when they drop 8 those windows become very tight and Nuss no longer has the arm strength to fit the ball into those tight windows

I never understood the hype surrounding Nuss and that he was the Heisman frontrunner. He has certainly regressed from last year.

He's not a running threat because he REFUSES to tuck it and run.

Someone made a comment that they think he may be going town the Myles Brennan (spelling) route and I'm not sure I disagree.

He seems shell shocked and maybe even disinterested.

So where is the crowd that was saying Heisman ... if you all watched Georgia and Alabama do you think this team has any chance competing against them...I don't. LSU doesn't have the speed and size the running backs or talent at QB ... not that Alabama QB or Georgia QB are that talented but they are better than Nuss. I've laughed at LSU's ranking but they should fall to the basement this week where they belong. At least the schedule helps.

I've never heard the term "crow hop" used in football. That's a baseball term, more specifically, for outfielders.

When they ask Nuss if he’s injured and he responds no comment tells you all you need to know

They don't run the ball so why rush 4 or 5 sit back and that is what they did...I may be leaning to playing our backup...Him not running either kills any chance of moving the ball...Berry needs to play enough of this Johnson stuff...maybe JJ can play 3rd downs but not a everyday running back...Playing calling is bad at the moment but you have 2 weeks to regroup...You should win next 3 (2 at home) so your 7-1 going into BAMA..

Did you see him sitting on the bench in the fourth quarter like he was sitting over there pout not what you expect out of a captain leader of the team I knew we were done when I saw that
