Connecting with deep passes is not a WR issue

Sure it can be. He had a WR quit on a route yesterday that was a TD, threw a great deep ball with excellent placement that ended up a TD and had other good deep balls. You can’t expect deep balls to be on point every time.

I did wonder how mad you were going to get when he started playing well

Didn’t this same dude run with “JD5 can’t throw the deep ball” narrative also?

the Nuss Bus continues to roll

I’d love to see him be in the running for the Heisman…. as a result of our overall team getting their heads out of their asses and start doing their jobs and we make the playoffs

But.....But..... But..... he's not very good because he can't run. Morons.

It’d be a lot cooler if he did

So Nussmeier is getting praised by actual former QBs and you think he sucks.

Post route. Maybe Daniels. He threw it to the inside of the field and Daniels didn’t even attempt to make a play. Could have lost it in the sun

No it wouldn’t. If he gets injured, the season is done. Hit the check downs and let the play makers make a play. Pretty sure that went for a tuddy yesterday.

I don't think he sucks at all.

He just has not developed any type of rhythm through 4 games with throws down the field. The best QB's are able to drive the ball down field.

And I do not think he has found a rhythm throughout a whole game either, yet. Just in spurts.

have no recollection of that and watched the game a 2nd time this morning. You'll have to find a time stamp for me, otherwise, didn't happen.

Does not compute. Our poor run game does not make him efficient,

OP didn't post efficiency stats, only volume stats and completion rate.

He has large volume stats b/c we throw a ton, and we throw a ton b/c our run game is poor.

For the volume, he's been just fine.

I said Nuss has been fine.

I was critiquing the poster, not Nuss. Learn how to read.

Funny thing is he can run. The coaches don't want him running.

They would prefer for him not to run, but there were times during the USC game when I'm sure they wanted him to take off. Hanny talked how USC dared him to run and he wouldn't even when there was 10-20 yards in front of him and no defenders around. It definitely hurt us against USC (who as we saw yesterday is not great).

However, Nuss has greatly improved his accuracy and has been great passing the ball. He played well in a very rough environment last week too and has delivered some pretty passes even when getting hit.

Nah I have nothing to prove to a brain wormed person that’s life still completely revolves around high school and college athletics in his 40s or 50s.

That’s an interesting way of admitting what you said never happened
