Maybe we should complain about having a committee in the first place, and instead demand some hard rules for actually playing your way into a playoff.
Then we’d not have to rob ourselves of some decent football games early in the season.

Sometimes I can’t tell if people are really this dumb or if this is just top level trolling. Buck Fama. And they got their arse beat by Michigan. Again. GTFOH

Thanks for remembering me, and yes Bama should've gone over SMU. Bama would not have lost 38-10 at PSU. Yes, Bama lost to Michigan. Part of that was the heaviest onslaught of hurricane rain came the exact possession Milroe had when he couldn't handle the snap. The 2 possessions Bama had were in the heaviest onslaught of rain which caused turnovers inside their own 25. Somehow it let up when Michigan got the ball. If you don't believe, then go back and look at highlights on Youtube.
They still would not have lost 38-10 at Penn St. Could they have lost? Yes definitely. Would it be 38-10? No. It'd be a good game imo Bama at Penn St.

"Bama would not have lost 38-10 at PSU"
"the heaviest onslaught of rain"
"Somehow it let up when Michigan got the ball"
- huge melt !!

your comment here sounds like the typical gump response.

there were six other teams in the top 25 that did not make the cut and seven teams with 10-11 wins.

you gumps have a skewed sense of reality.

and even though buma lost to Michigan you post this BS because you feel entitled every season.

Yep, 1 of them finished 8&5 and the other 7&6.
Cool and LSU lost to both of them.

Haha - you mean 78 SOS then Indiana, a QBless UGA and Penn State who beat no one and coach is 1-15 vs top 5 and a complete choke artist? LOL

I find it extremely hard to believe that ND currently has the 57th ranked SOS.

You’re right. It could be worse. Sports Illustrated had Notre Dame at 78th. SportsGrid had them at 82nd. College Football Network had them at 57th. I gave those sick fricks the benefit of the doubt. If you think Notre Dame schedules a hard schedule year in and year out, your parents smoked more crack than what I initially thought.

No you just don’t know how to read. Please link the current strength of schedule rankings that you are citing.

Texas played in the semi finals and didn't beat one top 10 team all year. 0-3

Yes that’s another reason I say Horns Down to those bitches. I never want them relevant again. The SEC sure does. The SEC gave Texas the easiest schedule in the SEC for their first two years to make sure of it. Miss State, Florida, Oklahoma and a few others all took on a much harder schedule to allow Texas to cake walk through their first couple of years. frick them. They even got a cake walk of a matchup for their first couple of playoffs games. Again, frick them.

We have no way of knowing but that Notre Dame team I saw Thursday night would have probably handed the 2024 LSU Tigers their hat had they played.

Ohio State would have done so as well.

SOS is a consideration but on the field, ND and OSU are arguably the best two teams of this season and the Championship system worked.

PS: I personally can’t stand Yankee college football, it brings me no pleasure to admit the SEC this year doesn’t have the best team(s).

They played USC, @ A&M, and @Florida State. I don’t think anybody expected FSU to be a dumpster fire and USC to be a 6-6 team when those games were scheduled

I’m sure Notre Dame thought they were scheduling a gauntlet of a schedule unlike what they’ve never done before when they scheduled Northern Illinois (loss), Purdue, Miami Ohio, Louisville, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Navy, Virginia and Army.

Fact remains - Aggie doesn’t beat us with the QB that played the entire game vs ND

As long as they have NBC sucking them off, they will never be forced to join a conference. CFB will continue to bend the knee to them

And USC didn’t beat us with the QB that played the entire game against ND because he got benched.
