The LSU vs ND argument for the playoffs is not and will never be apples to oranges. Their ceiling is just getting into the playoffs and getting their arse handed to them by someone more talented. Their poor fan base still believes they can win a natty, but it ain’t happening unless they loosen their academic requirements. They get hyped up every year beating up on their shitty schedule like Lucy and Charlie Brown. We all know what our ceiling is. It’s the main reason BK came here.

I don't think you understand how this works.
BK and LSU have no shot to win the CFP this year because they won't be in it.
ND does have a shot because - and follow closely because this part is tricky - they will be in the playoff.
