Can somebody please explain this new rule catching it in foul territory?

Yeah but Jake played 1B last year. Could definitely have both in the lineup at the same time. Idk. I’m not as down on Jake as the rest. I know he has a really high ceiling. You can look at the exit speeds as well as his Summer numbers and see the potential. It’s only game 2. Long way to go.

I have a favorite outcome in this situation...one good smash to tie it up.

Something about if you catch a foul in out of bounds territory the it counts as an out but runners on base advance one

shut the frick up you have been bitching in this thread all day today and yesterday.
blow me. Bryce Jordan of all people bailed them out yesterday and Hess was a complete disaster. Also, Slaughter needs to take a seat. it's plainly obvious but he keeps running him out there.

Sounded like if you catch it but fall over the fence or into the dugout the runners automatically advance.

Am I going crazy since when can you advance on a foul ball catch?
They made it sound like if you catch it and fall somewhere out of play like the dugout, it’s automatic advance but it looks like you play it just like any other pop out now?

Yeah I'm a die hard about watching games but I'm not big on recruiting. I just remember people saying that about him. I'm actually a Chris Reid fan. Either way I'm not hitting the panic button. I think the offense will be fun to watch this year and they will probably still win this game.

A fly out is a fly out whether foul or fair. Advance at your own risk

Dude. Shut up. Slaughter is starting slow but for fricks sake. There is plenty reason to play him. He has shown flashes.
Goddamn

It depends on where out of bound territory is. Which I’m trying to figure out. Sounds like, over the wall/fence, dugout, and camera wells are all considered OOB and will let the runners advance despite the call being caught.
Garbage rule, but I’m sure they’re going to blame it on player/spectator safety
