The D is good but not as good as they looked today.

Curry was the only back who ran with any kind of pop.

I don’t think Brennan and burrow were even. Brennan was really bad

What does the tackling look like? You said Curry looks like a pin ball but how hard are they hitting?

Alabama has 3 returning defensive starters, and there secondary is suppose to be struggling very badly right now.

Well here ya go. This is your opportunity you were looking for. Bash away. It is comical when scrimmage notes/stats are released. People are always going to melt/bitch no matter what

This is pretty much the best possible scenario from today. Receivers can start getting their shite together, meanwhile our QB’s are doing what we need them to do under pressure.

I knew curry would be great—the next marshawn lynch. And the defense has a pass rush and can cover at the same time. Defense looks impenetrable and our QB’s sound like the strength of the O for a change. I’m very ok with all of this at this point.

There’s like 4 equivalent defenses on our schedule.

And luckily we don't have to play any of them only two weeks into camp.

Which is why overreacting is so stupid. There was never was any scenario where LSU's offense got the better of LSU's defense, regardless of who is calling the plays.

I'd also argue there aren't 4 equivalent defenses on our schedule. If the expectation for this defense is to be one of the top 5 units in the country, you aren't going to see the other four defenses all being from the SEC. The SEC didn't even have 4 defenses in the top 10 last season, much less the top 5.

Passing stats from Ed Orgeron #LSU

Myles Brennan - 5-19, 47 yards, 1 INT
Joe Burrow - 10-24, 120 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Brennan is not an SEC caliber QB.

What do you notice about the overall "look" of the offense? Does it look any different from the LSU offense of the past?

Does it hold up to O's "pass focused"/50-50 promise?

This is the third time they’ve basically returned nothing on defense. Didn’t matter the first two times. Won’t matter this go round.

Never said they wouldn’t be amazing. They will, but there not the best Defense we’re going to face.
